Sweet African Women Abroad really Seeking Husbands




Why are many African women abroad now seriously looking for husbands or serious partners? Why are they single in the first place? What kind of men are they looking for? How do they feel being single? Etc. To understand and unlock these and other puzzling questions, Emmanuel Sarpong Owusu-Ansah, a lecturer and an investigative journalist in London, conducted a survey on 244 African women, married and unmarried, aged between 21 and 40 in England, UK.

No fewer than 8,000 women on Thursday [Sept. 26] matched to the Zamfara Hisbah Commission, seeking the state government’s assistance to enable them to get married.

British men can be 'wives' and women 'husbands' as g-ay marriage laws rewrite Oxford English Dictionary ( What Do U Tink?)




The Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill is due to complete its final stages through Parliament this summer. But updated guidance issued in ‘explanatory notes’ reveals the baffling explanation of how ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ will become interchangeable. It comes as part of the Government's initiative to “clarify” what words will mean when g-ay marriages become lawful. But critics described it as the vocabulary of “cloud cuckoo land”. A spokesman for the Coalition for Marriage, which campaigns against the change, said: “We always knew the Government would tie itself in knots trying to redefine marriage, and this shows what a ridiculous mess they’ve created”.

Wife Cuts Husband’s Nose And Hand On New Year's Eve




A woman was arraigned in court for the charges of assault after slashing her husband’s hand and nose with a machete on New Year’s Eve.
The court heard that on 31st December last year at Sipili Trading Center, Esther Nyokabi was at her home in the evening and her husband Daniel Githura arrived late after a drinking spree. Nyokabi who was waiting for him started an argument.

Sharia Court Grants Woman, 23, Divorce Over Husband's Inability To Provide Food





Kaduna – A Kaduna Sharia Court on Tuesday granted divorce to a 23-year-old mother of one,  Maijidda Waziri, over the failure of the husband to provide food to the family.
Waziri brought the case on  Oct. 17, urging the Sharia Court two at Magajin Gari to dissolve the marriage.
