Tiwa Savage Places Wedding shopping On Hold For Meeting On BBC Africa Studio



 Tiwa Savage and her fiancee Tee Billz are now in London doing some long awaited wedding shopping. However while they're in town they've been making their promo rounds. The initial stop was BBC World Service for an interview with Focus On Africa and a radio interview with (Focus Africa airing on Sunday 27th of Oct.). The couple was accompanied by Vox Africa's Mimi Fawaz, Factory 78's Adesope Olajide & Nigerian Watch's Michael Tube.

NGF Update: Governor Jang chairs NGF meeting with 16 governors in attendance




Plateau state governor, Jonah Jang today chaired a meeting of the factionalized Nigeria's Governors' Forum with only sixteen state governors in attendance.

Where are the remaining governors? Oh, they are having their own meeting with the other NGF chairman, Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State

Dame Patience Jonathan denies meeting with APGA chairman in her bedroom





Nigerian First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan has disassociated her self from ongoing crisis currently rocking the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, saying that she never had any meeting with its chairman, Victor Umeh in her bedroom.

Dame Patience also debunked the rumour that she was supporting the factional chairman of the party, Umeh, saying that any report connecting her to the crisis is far from the truth.

The First Lady who reacted to the reports through her spokesman, Ayo Osinlu denied meeting with Umeh, and disassociating herself from the party’s ongoing crisis. “We wish to state categorically that nothing is farther from the truth, as the first lady did not at any time meet with Chief Umeh on any account, least of all the crisis in APGA.

My Greatest Regret Is Meeting Jim Iyke – Habiba Abubakar Confesses



Habiba Abubakar may not be a household name in Nigeria, but to Jim Iyke and members of his family, that name means a lot. In most part of 2011 and 2012, the Abuja-based woman and Jim Iyke were having issues with each other over an alleged fraud. 
In an interview, Habiba confessed that her greatest regret is meeting the ‘bad boy’ actor, Jim Iyke. She further disclosed that her most embarrassing moment was going to the police station for the first time in her life to allegedly lock up Jim Iyke.

Teen Commits Suicide After Meeting Man Who Encouraged Her Online




A young girl has allegedly committed suicide by throwing herself out of her window after meeting a young man on the internet who was charged with abetting her suicide, according to the Abu Dhabi Criminal Court of First Instance. The girl was reportedly very shy, barely speaking to her parents and rarely ever leaving her room in which she was constantly at the computer. Investigations revealed that the victim had often expressed thoughts of committing suicide to the accused who responded by saying that he would follow her to death.
