Super Eagles defender Godfrey Oboabona has said he hopes to move to one of the top five leagues in Europe in the summer.

The Sunshine Stars of Akure defender in an exclusive interview with MTNFootball.com stated that he already has offers from Spain, England, Germany, Italy and France.

“I already have offers from the top five leagues in the world. But like you know the transfer window had closed by the time the Nations Cup ended,” he stated.

“If I want to make any move now then it would be to an African country. And I don’t want such a move when I have offers from Europe.

Father of one of the latest soccer stars in the country, Mr. Jonathan Oboabona, has said that God has decided to reward his soccer talent through his son, Godfrey. The young Oboabona featured for Nigeria in the just concluded African Cup of Nations in South-Africa.

Oboabona who shared his experience in an interview with our correspondent on Wednesday said he relocated to Ondo town since 1966 from Ohodua in Esan South East Local Government area of Edo State. He described himself as a football addict.
