Jackie Chan ashamed, shocked & heartbroken over son's drug arrest



 Legendary actor Jackie Chan has expressed his shock and heartbreak on the recent arrest of his 31 year old son, Jaycee Chan, who was picked & detained last Thursday after 100 grams of marijuana was discovered at his home. Police said Jaycee and another man present in his home, Taiwanese movie star Kai Ko, 23, tested positive for marijuana and admitted utilising the drug. 

Jackie, who had been made an anti-drug ambassador in China in 2009, took to his website today to state his sadness over his son's behaviour and apologized to people
"Regarding this issue with my son Jaycee, I feel very angry and very shocked. As a public figure, I'm very ashamed. As a father, I'm heartbroken. Jaycee and I together express our deep apology to society and the public' Chan wrote. .....

Award winning actor, Joseph Benjamin who is currently in London and lodged at the Crowne Plaza hotel London Heathrow had an all too familiar experience as electricity supply was interrupted for about two hours. He shared his experience thus with a laugh: You should have seen the shock on my face when it happened. For a second I forgot I was in London. I felt like oh Naija electricity situation, probably they had taken power and needed to switch to generator. You know the usual excuses we are used to in Naija. When power was restored about two hours later, I said Up Nepa!”
