Obnoxious, rude and selfish men don’t appeal to me - Singer Zaina

Zaina is a fast rising singer who already has two nominations from NEA Awards. She relocated from United States to Nigeria to pursue her music career not too long ago. She was asked in a new interview to describe her ideal man and here is what she said.  Describe your ideal man?Hmmm…I think it’s easier I describe what I don’t like (laughter). Obnoxious, rude and selfish men don’t appeal to me. But overall, if a man can hold my attention and stimulate my mind, he’s on a good path with me. She also said Tiwa is one of her role models.

Al-Mustapha discharged & acquitted by Lagos Court of Appeal

The former Chief Security Officer to late Head of State, Gen. Sani Abacha, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, was today discharged and acquitted by the Court of Appeal in Lagos for the murder of Kudirat Abiola.  The judgment overturns that of the Lagos High Court which convicted and sentenced the retired colonel in January 2012 and sentenced him to death by hanging. The Court of Appeal, in their ruling, said there was not enough evidence to incriminate Al-Mustapha in the murder of Late Mrs Abiola.  Chief  MKO Abiola's wife was shot dead on June 4, 1996, on what was alleged to be the orders of Al-Mustapha.

IBORI UPDATE: 13-yr jail term: UK court throws out Ibori’s appeal

The British Royal Court of Justice on the Strand in London yesterday rejected an appeal by former Delta State Governor, James Ibori, to have his 13-year jail term for money laundering slashed.
Two justices of the appellate court dismissed Ibori’s appeal for want of merit. On April 2012, a Southwark Crown Court in South London jailed Ibori for 13 years for embezzling more than $250 million from the treasury of the Delta State between 1999 and 2007 when he served as governor.
Just like when he was sentenced, news agency said a retinue of his supporters thronged the courthouse wearing Tshirts calling for his freedom.
