A Colorado mom finds herself facing several felony charges stemming from what police say was a s"xual affair with her son’s 15-year-old friend. Wendy Crowell, 37, was married at the time of the alleged three-week fling last summer, which the boy later admitted to his mother. Crowell, of Grand Junction, faces five counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust and five counts of s"xual assault, The Daily Sentinel reported, one count for each time the pair reportedly had s"x.
Crowell told the boy to “pretend to be 18 for the night,” an arrest affidavit said, during s"xual encounters in Crowell’s bedroom and her vehicle, which she allegedly parked at the end of a cul-de-sac.
The boy’s mother had “a gut feeling” something was up and looked through her son’s phone, where she reportedly found incriminating text messages, including one where the pair wrote they loved each other.
Free on a $10,000 bond, Crowell denies the charges.
