So, for the records, Charles Novia has defended his "Genevieve lacks ability to evolve beyond her present heights" comment. While congratulating Nollywood stars - Kenneth Nnebue, Joke Silva and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde - who were days ago awarded national awards, Charles added that Omotola beats her 'rival' Genevieve Nnaji as she has more depth in acting than Miss Nnaji. Yesterday, Nollywood actors Kenneth Nnebue, Joke Silva and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde were each given National Honours by President Jonathan.  Charles Novia took to his Facebook page to congratulate the award recipients but somehow, dragged Genevieve Nnaji and declare that she lacks the intrinsic capability to evolve artistically beyond her present heights in her career into it. He also said Omotola even has more depth in acting than her'rival'Genevieve Nnaji. A filmmaker himself, Mr. Novia is known for his articles that blast various aspects of Nollywood and the entertainment industry in general.

It was Novia who once stated that two of Nollywood’s biggest actresses, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Genevieve Nnaji, were not great at their craft. His criticisms are usually seen as “bad belle” and he has often been challenged on his mastery of his profession. One of the actresses at the receiving end of his diatribes once labeled him a “failed filmmaker.” At a recent film festival in Abuja, PREMIUM TIMES cornered Mr. Novia to ask him about his “reputation.”
On his critiques, Mr. Novia said:

  It's common among public figures around the globe to employ bodyguards for their status and the desire of some of these overzealous fans attempting to access them, possibly for an attack or out of admiration. 

An example was an attack on Brad Pitt by way of a man at a video premiere in the US. 

However, Nigerian superstar actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde isn't bothered about this and also not planning to have anyone to be her bodyguard, at least not any time soon like Tiwa Savage, who recently reported to have employed a bodyguard.

Though she knows the threat of going about alone and how crazy some overzealous fans might be, but going by latest revelation, she can't just cant go around with bodyguards.  She admitted that fame has restricted her from doing several things she'd have inked herself, but noting that she has become used to such life.

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde stumbled into her First School Leaving Certificate today, and felt so proud that she has always been very intelligent. As a result, she decided to share the certificate online. To her, she has been very consistent, doing great in acting the way it has always been. Another point of interest is that her certificate revealed that she left Primary School in 1987, with flying colours.

Nollywood star, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and Nigerian singer, D'Banj, on Tuesday (February 11), attended the official launch of the Nigeria Industrial Revolution Plan (NIRP) and National Enterprise Development Programme (NEDEP), which took place in Abuja. The event was held at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, which houses the residence and office of the Nigerian president. The event was attended by President Goodluck Jonathan, as well as business and political leaders, including Governor Olusegun Mimiko, Governor Peter Obi, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (Minister of Finance), and Olusegun Aganga (Minister of Trade and Investment).

 Meraiah, daughter of popular nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde turned 14 on February 7, 2014 and days later some of her photos went viral online.  Well, seems like Omotola isn't pleased with this  and she's issued a notice to bloggers. She is angry that her daughters'private online photos'were tagged as s3xy and hot by some bloggers. Omotola has two boys and two girls and Meraiah is her second daughter.
