She was listed as one of the most popular girls on Campus by The Dynamix Youth awards 2009.  Sources who schooled with her in Benin republic reveal she was the hottest item on campus then and it was unsurprising when rumors started flying around that she was pregnant for the popstar. she got cozy with wizkid after a performance in the school.

The dark skinned beauty who resides with her parents in Magodo is now rounding off her NYSC program somewhere in Lagos. Shola is the same age with wizkid (23) and after the birth of her son, Bolu, Wizkid denied being the father until a paternity test proved him wrong.

I may be their mother because I brought them into the world. I may have the privilege to raise them up to adult age. But you know, I cannot tell them what to do or follow at a certain age. Besides, they are Americans who have their own minds. If they graduate from college and decide to follow my footsteps, it’s their own calling. If I can predict, they wouldn’t want to do what I do because they have better opportunities and better futures than mine.

All I do now is to secure a better future for them so they don’t have to go through what I went through in my life time. Mind you, I tell my daughters everything I do. I even told them about this project, the nature of it, but I could not show them because they are not up to 18 yet. I just had to prepare them in case they run into it on the Internet, they won’t be shocked. So don’t worry about my daughters, they are the best children any mother could ever ask for and I thank God for the gift.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa on Thursday arrested a 50-year old hunter for allegedly impregnating his 17-year old step granddaughter in Dutse.  The NSCDC Commandant, Mr Muhammad Gidado, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the suspect was arrested over alleged incest.

Gidado said that the suspect, married to the girl’s aunt, committed the offence at Warwade community in Dutse.

He said parents of the victim had filed a complaint against the suspect following his inability to settle medical bills at the clinic where she was delivered of her baby. Gidado said the girl had undergone Caesarean section and had been suffering from anaemia due to pregnancy related complications.

Africa’s richest man and President of Dangote Group Alhaji Aliko Dangote yesterday promised to end fuel importation in Nigeria in four years when his proposed refinery comes on stream.

Work would commence later in the year on the proposed 400,000 barrels per day refinery which is expected to cost $4.25 billion, to be located in Ondo State, Dangote said in an interview after the Annual General Meeting of Dangote Cement in Abuja. Dangote group would provide half of the money while the rest would be sourced from two foreign banks and Nigerian banks.

“We hope to start something by end of the year. We have put down 50 percent of the money. We have secured $4.25 billion from two foreign banks and the rest from local banks,” Dangote said.

I was on Ademola Adetokunbo, I saw this crowd gathered around a car right in front of Eko Hotels. I stylishly moved closer and asked one of the usual Lagos "gather around' and was told that the couple while driving along the road slept and eventually stopped in front of Eko Hotels. 

Despite people opening the car doors, the couple still did not wake up but they are breathing as at the time I took these pictures.  What could have happened to this couple? Were they drugged or are they on drug

While speaking at a lecture organized by the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja Branch yesterday Thursday May 23rd, former FCT minister, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, said despite his connections, he's yet to secure jobs for his two daughters, who are both holders of Masters Degrees.

He said this while pointing out Nigeria's unemployment problem, saying the country needed to create three million jobs yearly to tackle the problem. El-Rufai said: 

“Forty-two per cent of Nigerian youths are unemployed. I have two daughters with Masters Degrees and they are unemployed. They have been at home for more than a year and I cannot get a job for them. We are sitting on a demographic time bomb and unless we have visionary leaders that are able to plan for the future, we will have a huge problem."

El-Rufai can't find jobs for his daughters? Wow! The situation is really getting worse. And every year fresh graduates are pushed into the labour market. Thank God that there are people who like to read about other people. (LIBers kwenu! Lol). If not, where will I be by now? :-)
