After 13 years of her mother’s death, Nigerian actress Rita Dominic used today to remember late mama Dominic.  The award-winning actress took to her Twitter page few hours ago to shower honour on her late mother. She shared the above picture with the caption “13 yrs ago we lost u to the cold hands of death and not a day goes by that we don’t think of u.. We miss u so much and we hope we have made u proud.. Happy bday mummy.. Keep resting in heaven..”  What a resemblance! Rita Dominic looks so much like her late mum.  Madam, may your soul continue to rest in eternal peace

Gist making the rounds on various social media platforms implies that there could be an affair going on between Chelsea player Mikel Obi and popular actress Rita Dominic. Sources claim Mikel Obi and Rita Dominic, don't seem to be just normal friends as pictures of them going out in different places have been seen. It wasn't just the pictures but the kind of intimacy shown in the pictures. Speaking with 1 of Mikel aides, he explained he was sent by Mikel to go scout for good expensive ring.  Having an employer like Rita Dominic must certanly be awesome. The star actress happens to be in London but a few weeks ago, she continued holiday to the US and chose to take her longtime personal assistant, Kate Okpo, with her. They visited New York and Las Vegas and stayed in luxury suites . Rita told friends who queried the economic sense behind such gesture it is her very own means of rewarding the young girl who has been dedicated to her job.  Kate said working for Rita Dominic is definitely the very best job she's ever heard.

OC Ukeje is definitely among the younger generation of actors taking over Nollywood like a bush fire in the harmattan. He has featured in a dozen stage plays and acted alongside Joke Silva, Rita Dominic, Bimbo Akintola and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Though, he hit the limelight in 2006 after winning that year’s edition of Amstel Malta Box Office (AMBO), it would take a couple of years before Ukeje would break into mainstream Nollywood.

Sh*t Happens: Globacom Sacks Rita Dominic, Ramsey Noah, Uche Jombo, others as ambassadors

Globacom today dropped their Nollywood ambassadors with the exception of four people - Chioma Chukwuka, Ini Edo, Funke Akindele and Desmond Elliot. These four remain as Glo ambassadors for the time being while Ramsey Noah, Rita Dominic, Mike Ezuruonye, Monalisa Chinda, Nonso Diobi, Uche Jombo, Odunlade Adekola have now been dropped.  

They've been told to go to the legal department of Globacom to pick  up a letter - a letter terminating their contract with the telecoms company.   Some of those ambassadors don't even know they've been dropped. Some have acquired their letters, some haven't.
