Pastor Disguised as homeless to his Church and Members Refused To Help




When people were growing up in the 80s , the church is where you go when you need help, love and any and every kind of assistance. Guess what? You'll get the attention of the big people (Pastors and assistance) as that is their purpose - to help the vulnerable and needy, Ọmọ Oódua observed.
But what do we get these days? Pastors competing with themselves over who has the best suits, the best cars and, in recent times, who enjoy more beautiful girls in the "Pastoral Cure Unit". Now the mess has spread to church members, many are living the artificial life rather than be of help to their neighbour.

Family Members Of Late Ajanaku Trade blows Over Properties! Widow inherits Over Church



Here is the gist. Family members of Late Pastor Ajanaku have been coming around to see what he left behind. Not only have they been parading his home, they are mostly interested in his fleet of cars and they have been discussing on how to move the cars and who deserves the best. According to a source, any moment from now, his family members will be back to move the exotic cars out. We also heard that, no weekly activities have been taking place in the church since their founder died. His widow is said to become the next General Overseer and has also moved some valuables to undisclosed locations after her late husband's family members have showed interest in their son/brother's properties.

Citizen Get 50 lashes for insulting members of his own tribe on the Twitter



If you're planning on taking up a hobby as an internet troll, Saudi Arabia is probably somewhere to avoid.
A 30 year-old Saudi national was apparently sentenced to 50 lashes for insulting members of his own tribe on the Twitter microblogging site. 

According to the Riyadh Bureau website a group of tribesmen from a village near the city of Medina - Islam's 2nd holiest site - lodged a complaint against the man at a local police station, providing screenshots as proof. They asked the police to ban him from "harming" and insulting them, and to punish him for the offending tweets.

NABBED: 1,103 Cult Members Arrested In Imo



The rising number of youths involved in cultism in Imo State has become a source of worry to the police as many of the suspects arrested have been linked to kidnapping and armed robbery.
According to the statistics released by the police, over 1,103 cult members had been arrested in the last four months. Majority of the suspects were said to have operated as both link and major actors in kidnapping, armed robbery, assassinations, gang rapping and drug paddling.
Parading some of them in Owerri, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mrs. Joy Elemoko, said: “These cult group members are major cause of the problems facing the society because they are the set of persons that act without any remorse of conscience, they have been terrorising the state in the last four months.”

Three kidnapped corps members rescued By Nigerian Police



THE three corps members that were kidnapped a week ago have been rescued by a team of policemen in Abua/Odual Local Government of Rivers State.
 
The corps members, Ogochi Martins (male), Chijioke Richard (male) and Esther Nwachukwu (female) were abducted from the corps members’ lodge in Ogonokom on Saturday, June 29, 2013.
Surprisingly, the kidnap victims were rescued within the same community they were abducted by the hoodlums.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mrs. Angela Agabe, who spoke on the rescue of the corps members, said one suspected kidnapper was arrested during the rescue operation.

If we compare the curriculum of secondary schools and universities, would you say there is a link between both curricula?
Yes of course, there is a link. The National Universities Commission  in developing or revising university curriculum, factors in the content of the lower level curriculum, in this case, that of the secondary level. Take the B.Sc. Chemistry programme for example, efforts are made to ensure that the contents of 100-level courses are pitched at the exit level of the senior school certificate. This way, fresh students are guaranteed smooth transition from secondary to the university.

Islamic group wants separate camps for male and female corps members



The Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) has called on the management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to stop mixing males and females in the National Youth Service Scheme physical exercise at orientation camps as it violates Islamic tenets and offends the sensibilities of Muslims.  This JNI Secretary General, Dr. Khalid Abubakar, said this at the end of a peace and unity conference for Muslim scholars in Kaduna State.
Abubakar called on the NYSC to respect the decency and chastity of female corps members during physical exercises and other activities at the orientation camps, and provide alternative camps for female Muslim corps members.

Homosexual Club With 400 Members Found In Benue



Executive Secretary of the Benue State Agency for the Control of AIDS (BENSACA), Mrs. Grace Wende has revealed that the agency recently discovered a 400-member homosexuals club in Makurdi the Benue state capital. 
According to her, the organisation otherwise known as Men Sleeping with Men, MSM, has a large membership of male students from higher institutions in the state. 
Wende said this yesterday at a one day Training of Media Practitioners on HIV/AIDS in Makurdi, adding that the existence of the gay club in the state was not helping the state government’s efforts at curbing the spread of the HIV virus in the state.

House Of Reps Members seek to Confer Immunity On Themselves




The House of Representatives have shut themselves against any court action in matters relating to its legislative activities and functions in the National Assembly.
It therefore approved a bill to alter the 1999 Constitution (amended) and provide immunity for the members of the legislature in respect of words spoken or written at plenary sessions and committee proceedings.
Part of the bill will also guarantee that freedom of speech; debates and proceedings in Legislative Houses are not impeached or questioned in any court or place outside of parliament.

Nigeria will boil if you kill our Holiness – Rev. King’s church members



Members of Chukwuemeka Ezeugo’s church, have warned Nigerians to be prepared for dire consequences, if their General Overseer, popularly known as Reverend King, is indeed killed by hanging.
This warning emanated from the last Sunday service held at the church, Christian Praying Assembly (CPA), located at Ajao Estate, Lagos. “It will be absolute tragedy in this country if they touch our Holiness, they are just ignorant of this,” the goatee-spotting acting general overseer, Reverend Elijah King, threatened on the pulpit.

CAC Members In Church Leadership Tussle





As Christians world wide celebrated the Christmas and gave thanks to God for bringing them to the end of 2012, worshippers at the Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, were busy waging a battle of supremacy and allegiance. 
The crisis in the church, which has been ongoing for more than 20 years, took a dangerous turn when the two factions of the church clashed during a Sunday morning service.
