Dancer Kemi Omotoyinbo died on October 1st after being in and out of labour for a number of days at one hospital in Lagos. (Read here). Wellness doctor, Sola Fajana says her death was preventable.

I read about Kemi Omotoyinbo's death some few days back and I still feel so much burden to write about it. She is a popular dancer and died during child birth. Her friends took to social media to condemn the managing Doctor on how she was treated and refusal to perform the surgery due to unavailability of funds.

As soon as a lion was trampled to death by way of a large herd of Buffalo was captured by game ranger, Lyle Gregg. The sad event happened at the Kruger National Park in South Africa. In according to Gregg, the herd of Buffalo spotted the lion, which had earlier been forced out of his pride, and went after him. 7 year old Osemudiamen Abraham, the elder brother of Omonigho Abraham, (pictured above), who had been attacked by two dogs on September 25th inside his compound at Adegboyega Street, Akesan Estate, in the Igando part of Lagos, has given account of how his little brother was attacked by the dogs and how onlookers including policemen stood there without trying to greatly help the small boy. 

 

Omonigbo has become battling for his life following the attack which lasted over one hour. Narrating what happened to Punch, Ose said;

My last moments with Taiwo Oshadipe, by her manager

One of the Oshadipe Twins, Taiwo, died in the early hours of Friday October 3rd. Her manager, Olu Akinsanya, speaking for the first time about her sudden death, said she might have died of complications arising from chest-related pains.

Speaking exclusively to The Nation, Olu said she was ill about a month ago and was admitted at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, and was given some medications. 

“The illness wasn’t serious. She felt better when she started taking the drugs. But surprisingly, she suffered a relapse this week. On Wednesday, she called her doctor who treated her at LASUTH and was told to come over to his private hospital, as he wouldn’t be around at LASUTH until Friday. She went to the hospital where the doctor carried out some medical checks on her and gave her some drugs. He also gave her an appointment for Friday. But unfortunately, in the early hours of the day, she started complaining of pains.
