Ebola: Family of late justina cries out on stigmatization





A sister to the late justina Ejelonu, a nurse who died from Ebola in lagos, has cried out on the Stigmatization her family is facing. Onyinye Anugwolu, a married elder sister of Justina, complained to SH reporters bitterly on the discrimination she is facing with her family.
 
Anugwolu  who works and lives in Enugu state, says that her husband was sent on a compulsory leave from office by his employers out of fear that he might have contracted the deadly disease. She further revealed that she had not seen Justina since October 2013.
In her words;
“I haven’t seen her since October last year,We are not in contact.Wherever my sister is, her soul will be at peace for bringing her plight to illuminate and force the government to act against Ebola”

'UN Set to Honour Late Achebe This Month'



The United Nations has devoted Friday, November 15, 2013 to late Professor Chinua Achebe who died last march in Boston, US.Achebe was once a UN Goodwill ambassador from 1999 to 2005. The function holds at Dag Hammarskjold Library Auditorium, UN Headquarters, New York.In an invite sent to Vanguard by the United Nations SRC Society of Writers and United Nations SRC Film Society, the global body said the event featuring music, film, readings and recollections by family and friends, is part of Achebe's 83rd post-humous birthday celebrations.On its website, the United Nations Population Fund, through its Executive Director, Dr. Babatunde Osotimehin said, “Mr. Achebe will forever be credited for his leading role in shaping the span of Africa's literary traditions and for conveying its authentic voice to the world at large.”

This country! So Bayelsa State governor, Seriake Dickson, today reported state burial for Persistence Jonathan's late foster mummy, Mrs. Charity Francis Oba, who died in a vehicle accident in July. Not just is late'Mama Sisi'obtaining a state burial, additionally there are finding that many Federal Govt ministries, state governments, and government agencies are tossing big sums of public funds into funding the burial. Mrs Oba's funeral rites, that'll last 3 days , will start on Thursday, Oct. 31 in Okrika, Rivers state

“My father was a drug dealer so I learned early in life that there's only two ways out of it,” he explained in the video segment “Confessions.”

Late Augustus Aikhomu's Widow & Young ones Abducted



Rebecca Madojemu-Aikhomu the widow of Late Admiral Augustus Aikhomu and two of her children have been kidnapped today. They were kidnapped along Benin-Auchi road when they flew in from Lagos and were heading home. Their driver was killed in the process. So much for kidnapping now. it's so unfortunate that things are really getting worse everyday in this country. When are Nigerians likely to take a seat and say no more wrongdoing???

Teju Babyface's Touching Tribute To Late Chief Tunji Okusanya Of MIC



When I tell my driver that Tunji Okusanya of MIC is dead, I envision he will say, 'ah! man daada to ma'n fun mi l'owo yen!'(dat generous man!).
I walked into his office to invite him 2 Season2 of our show in 2010. We had never met but he hugged me.  He told me how he loved our show and how I would go far up the ladder of Success. I discovered that he liked to laugh a lot.

How my children should bury me – Late MIC boss



When asked in the interview if he had planned his funeral yet, having planned the funerals of others, he said, “Fortunately, I am in this line and my kids see what I do. You plan for yourself as you get older and we have people who plan their funerals before they die. They even choose the clothes they want to be buried in. My children know what I like to wear but it is always good to plan before hand because in most  instances, your kids will not give you what you want. My children should bury me the way I live.”

I’m Not Dead, I'm Okay – Late Agagu’s Son



Feyi, the son of late former Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Agagu, rumored to have died in the plane crash conveying the corpse of his late father from Lagos to Akure has debunked the rumor saying he is alright and no one should worry about his state.

Feyi spoke when his friends, led by Jide Obanikoro, the son of a former Nigeria’s ambassador to Ghana, Musiliu Obanikoro, visited him at the Surgical Emergency ward of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja where he and other victims of the Associated Airline plane crash were 
rushed to on Thursday.
Feyi Agagu who spoke normally, said he became unconscious after feeling the impact of the aeroplane hitting the ground but woke up later.

Late prophet Ajanaku's wife relocates to rented apartment as family trade blows over his assets



Joy Ajanaku, the wife of the late spiritual leader of Christ Victory Chapel International, prophet Ireti Ajanaku, who died August 18th (or 22nd), has been forced to move out of her matrimonial home into a rented apartment after her husband's family allegedly made life difficult for her following the prophet passed on. Based on reliable sources, the ministry's board moved Joy Ajananku and her children out of her husband's Lagos home in to a 3-bedroom flat in Abule Egba, Lagos after constant harassment from the prophet's family, who are insisting that Joy isn't legally married to their son.

We miss u so much and we hope we have made u proud.. Happy bday mummy.. Keep resting in heaven..”  What a resemblance!  Seven months after late singer Goldie passed away, her husband, Andrew Harvey has found love again. Andrew is currently dating a Malaysian woman named Beth Buenaventura. The couple were photographed kissing at his birthday party which held a few weeks back at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. Mr Harvey moved to Malaysia a few years ago when the company he works for transfered him from Nigeria to Malaysia. Andrew and Beth are said to be engaged. Beth can even be seen flaunting her engagement ring in one of the pics you will find after the cut...

Family Members Of Late Ajanaku Trade blows Over Properties! Widow inherits Over Church



Here is the gist. Family members of Late Pastor Ajanaku have been coming around to see what he left behind. Not only have they been parading his home, they are mostly interested in his fleet of cars and they have been discussing on how to move the cars and who deserves the best. According to a source, any moment from now, his family members will be back to move the exotic cars out. We also heard that, no weekly activities have been taking place in the church since their founder died. His widow is said to become the next General Overseer and has also moved some valuables to undisclosed locations after her late husband's family members have showed interest in their son/brother's properties.

Queen Of England Enters Public Bus, Late For Event



The Queen shows she’s just like the rest of us – by turning up late for an event after taking a bus. Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh arrived in Cambridge by scheduled train today before boarding the single decker to travel though the city. Locals were delighted at the royal gesture – but the magic didn’t rub off on public transport timekeeping.  The monarch arrived 15 minutes late to open a £212million lab for a leading medical research institute.
