Adebayo Ola-Smith, Globacom (glo) Area Manager West 1 is still alive in Our Heart - Family.

**Bayo Ola-Smith, Globacom (glo) Area Manager West 1, Death Remembered By Family and Friends One Year Later: Forever remembered, Forever missed.

Exactly One Year after Globacom (glo) area manager west 1, Adebayo Ola-Smith was reported to have mysteriously committed suicide. (If you missed the last story click here). The incident happened on Friday, "Adebayo Ola-Smith did not commit suicide". The date our beloved Adebayo Ola-Smith was last seen in Globacom(glo) at challenge, Ibadan was 31st August, 2012 at about lunch time. It was reported that having received a call, he left Globacom(glo) at Challenge, Ibadan. However, did not return to the office as he pledged. His Globacom(glo) colleagues and the Nigerian Police force retrieved his dead body in his home in Ibadan on the 1st of September and transfered him to the mortuary. Adebayo was buried without any autopsy in Ibadan. Adebayo Ola-Smith was survived by his wife; 3 sons; 7 siblings (6 brothers, 1 sister); and 4 half brothers, several cousins, aunties and uncles.

The Nigerian Police Force  failed to ascertain the cause of death by following the sequence
1) Homicide
2) Suicide
3) Accident
4) Natural cause.

University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan exploited the situation by demanding a fee of ₦500,000.00 to carry out an autopsy only because it was Globacom (glo) that brought Adebayo's corpse to the mortuary. Globacom (glo) failed to pay the fee despite their involvement and the fact that they were capable of footing the cost of establishing the cause of death. The option was open for Globalcom (glo) to recoup the post mortem cost from the payout of the leftover of Adebayo's entitlements (comprising several multiples of ₦500,000.00) many months later to his next of kin but common sense failed to prevail in the company.

Check reactions from the deceased  Friends and Family after the jump break.

"A little tribute small and tender, just to say we still remember. There is a link death cannot sever, Love and remembrance last forever. A garden of beautiful memories Sprayed with a million tears. Our Beloved reader, husband, friend, brother, a father, a role model, a bread winner, a manager and mostly a tender soul has just clocked one year since he left. We Miss you" A great gem is lost. - Friends

" It’s been a little over a year, and my heart is still broken in a million pieces. I miss Brother Bayo every second of every hour of every day," says sibling.

"His memories are as dear today as in the hour he passed away. Memories are like threads of gold, they never tarnish or grow old. It’s just a little but means a lot
to say dear friend we haven’t forgot." - Close friend.

"We have all lost loved ones in our lives and we all search for ways to keep them in our memories and in our hearts. My 3rd ever experience of loss was the loss of my brother, says another Sibling.

"When I decided to start anything I decided I needed to be able to give others the opportunity to keep their loved one(s) close.  I had one strong conviction that many other people don't have, I knew the value of a photo. When all you have left is a photo of your loved one there's nothing more valuable in this whole world" - Friend of deceased

Globacom's (glo's) atrocious conduct during the episode that UCH Ibadan demanded ₦500,000.00 is disgraceful. What was ₦500,000.00 (cost of autopsy) to Gblobacom (glo) compared to the value of living up to its corporate and social responsiblity for a human life (a dedicated employee) who diligently worked for them. If Globacom (glo) was so stingy that paying  ₦500,000.00 for autopsy will make them (sic) bankrupt, they could have recouped the cost from the final payout of entitlements to the next of kin of the deceased.

"The meaningful well wishers of the deceased feel very strongly about Globacom's (glo's) shameless and disgraceful conduct in the handling of UCH's demands for  ₦500,000.00 with regards to handling charges for a post mortem (autopsy report) since UCH banked/gambled on glo's involvement in bringing Adebayo Ola-SMITH's corpse to the mortuary". It was also morally, ethically and "administratively bankrupt of  UCH with regards to the extortionist scam they ran at the time with respect to taking advantage of the death of Adebayo in connection with enriching themselve". The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) should have never allowed a deceased corpse to be buried without establishing the cause of death"

(Sadistically and Satanically) Organised crime had become the norm in a country where value of human life is lost and forgotten so quickly by meaningless people. Death  of a loved one is a trigger, it reminds one of other losses. It’s as if one holds a memory box close to the heart which is usually closed. Yet, with a new loss, the  box springs open with the fountain of grief and sorrow. There is a parade of visceral memories and sensations. In life, one do not forget death.

May Adebayo's soul rest in perfect peace.  May Adebayo Ola-Smith's  KILLER(s) live forever on earth till they ascend (without dying) to burn in hell forever.
