FULL UPDATE! Abiola's Family Fighting Over Babangida's Money

Following revelations by one of the brothers of the late MKO Abiola, Alhaji Mubashiru Abiola that former military Head of State, Gen Ibrahim Babangida has been the one sustaining the family since the death of the acclaimed winner of the June 12 1993 presidential election, the head of Abiola family, Chief Mohammed Murtala Abiola has described the claim as total falsehood.

Speaking at his residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State, the Abiola family head who claimed that he is not aware of any monetary support from Babangida, stated that:

MKO Abiola, Susan Rice & a deadly cup of tea - By Femi Fani Kayode

Ambassador Susan Rice was up until recently the American Ambassador to the United Nations. Her long-standing aspiration of becoming the Secretary of State for her country was dashed when the Republicans in the Senate started sharpening their knives in anticipation of her formal nomination for that position by President Barak Obama.

Sensing that her nomination would not scale through the Senate and that she would not be confirmed as Secretary of State due to the role she played in the cover up of the Benghazi affair in which the American Ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, and three other American citizens were murdered by a group of islamist terrorists, her nomination was withdrawn.

Hafsat Abiola-Costello pregnant?

One of the daughters of the late Chief MKO Abiola, Hafsat Abiola-Costello, was the City People Awards penultimate weekend. The activist attended in her capacity as Special Adviser to the Ogun State governor on Millennium Development Goals. Also, she accompanied the First Lady, Funso Amosun to the event.
Dressed in black attire spiced with silver accessories, not a few people noticed she had put on some weight. This led to several insinuations one of which was that she might have embarked on a nine-month course.
