 The eldest son of former military ruler Ibrahim Babangida, Mohammed Babaginda turned 42 on Sunday February 2nd and his wife of almost eight years and mother of his four children, Rahama, the very first daughter of billionaire businessman Mohammed Indimi, gave him a loving shout out on her behalf instagram page. Following revelations by one of the brothers of the late MKO Abiola, Alhaji Mubashiru Abiola that former military Head of State, Gen Ibrahim Babangida has been the one sustaining the family since the death of the acclaimed winner of the June 12 1993 presidential election, the head of Abiola family, Chief Mohammed Murtala Abiola has described the claim as total falsehood.

Speaking at his residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State, the Abiola family head who claimed that he is not aware of any monetary support from Babangida, stated that:
“If there is any money that IBB brought, it is not to my knowledge. I heard he (Mubashiru) frequents IBB’s residence in Minna to beg for money but he has never declared any money to the family. Even when Obasanjo was president, he gave the family money but Mubashiru said he went there on his own and so he didn’t give us a dime.

Aisha Babangida's 2nd marriage to former Zamfara state governor Is no longer Valid

The second marriage of Aisha Babangida to former governor of Zamfara state, Alhaji Aliyu Shinkafi has ended. The first daughter of former head of state, Ibrahim Babangida, married Shinkafi less than two years after her marriage to first husband, Basheer Nalado Garba ended.  Aisha married Basheer in 2003 and Shinkafi in 2008 as his third wife. She's single again in 2013. The reason for the marriage break up is unknown.
