A renowned British actor of film, television and theatre, Chiwetel Ejiofor was born in July 1977 in London to Nigerian parents. He gained a scholarship to the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art after he enrolled at the National Youth Theatre in 1995 and by age 19, and only three months into his course, Chiwetel was chosen by Steven Spielberg to play a small part in Amistad as James Covey.
His archive of awards and nominations include the BAFTA Orange Rising Star Award in 2006, five Golden Globe Award nominations and the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor for his performance in Othello in 2008.

2) Megalyn Echikunwoke
MEGALYN Ann Echikunwoke was born in Washington, United States. She is an actress best known for her roles as Tara Price in CSI: Miami and Isabelle Tyler on The 4400.Her father is a Nigerian Igbo, while her mother is a German/Scots-Irish American. She has featured in many movies and TV series and she is a regular face for many movie lovers.
Some other popular movies and TV series that Megalyn had featured in include Funny Valentines, Like Family, ER, That ‘70’s Show, Spyder Games and as Senator David Palmer’s daughter, Nicole, in 24, among a whole lot of others.

Vanity Fair has named Jay Z and Beyonce the No.1 power couple in America, beating the Obama's to the top position. According to Vanity Fair's 'New Establishment' for 2013, Jay Z and Beyonce, who were ranked number 8 last year, are the most important powers that be in the U.S this year.

Jungle Justice In America: Father who beat to death man he caught raping his 5yr old daughter won't face charges
A Texas father who discovered a man raping his five-year-old daughter and beat him to death with his bare hands will not be charged with homicide under state law.
A Lavaca County grand jury decided not to press charges against the 23-year-old father in the June 9th death of Jesus Mora Flores, 47, who was killed inside a remote shack after he was caught molesting the young girl.

See America's longest married couple. 80 years and counting
John (101) and Ann Betar (97) of Fairfield, Connecticut, tied the knot on Nov. 25, 1932. They've been happily married for over 80 years now. Together they have five children, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. They have been named the longest married couple in the U.S.
John and Ann Betar told ABC News that they considered themselves "blessed."
"We are very fortunate. It can be repeated and repeated," Ann, 97, said "It is unconditional love and understanding. We have had that. We consider it a blessing."They said their secret to so many happy years together is simple: compromise and don't hold a grudge.

23-year-old tap dancing beauty becomes Miss America (PHOTOS including amazing bikini strut)
A 23-year-old woman from Brooklyn, New York, has won the title of Miss America – beating out 13,000 other contestants including the pageant’s first autistic contestant and a woman with Tourettes.
Mallory Hagan won the beauty pageant on Saturday night after tap dancing to James Brown’s ‘Get Up Off of That Thing’ in Las Vegas and answering a question about whether armed guards belong in grade schools by saying the nation should not fight violence with violence.
Hagan defeated Miss South Carolina Ali Rogers, who took second, and Miss Oklahoma Alicia Clifton, who finished third.

Atheists Can Be Jailed In America For Not Acknowledging God
Simply put, An atheist is someone that doesn't believe in God.
It is in the news that American Atheists have submitted a petition to the U.S. Supreme Court in a bid to overturn a Kentucky homeland security law which can send atheists to jail for up to 12 months for refusing to acknowledge "Almighty God."
