President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Pastor Ayo Oristejafor yesterday reiterated that he is not a party to the $9.3 million arms cash saga even though he owns the jet that ferried the money to South Africa earlier this month.

He also explained that he leased the jet in “order to ameliorate the cost of maintenance of the aircraft.”

 Within an explosive interview with Sahara Reporters, Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie, the 1st President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, and former Archbishop of Lagos, shared his personal opinion on current leadership of CAN.  Mallam Nasir El Rufai has reacted to the statement released yesterday by Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor-led Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, where he (El-Rufai) was accused of trying to tarnish the image of Oritsejafor (read here).
