Nigerian singer Wizkid planned to have the most expensive birthday celebration, as he would be having six parties in different countries – one down, five more to go.

It was gathered that when the Nigerian Pop star is done celebrating, a total of N20m would have been spent! Last week Wizkid turned 24 and his first birthday party was planned by Hennessy Nigeria.

Nollywood actress Nuella Njubigbo has been linked to a governor, breaking Chidi Chikere's marriage and recently a footballer. She has denied having anything g to do with either. In this recent interview with PM news, she explains how she's able to afford her expensive lifestyle. I.e, the 8million naira SUV she bought a while back

"I can only speak for myself. I have other businesses that I do by the side. But even if it’s just acting, what I earn can actually get me such car and even live well. Those saying all that, I am not sure they have gone to the market to see the number of movies I have done in the last one year. I have done a lot. In January alone I shot five movies. Even if I am paid just N150,000, multiply it by the amount of movies I have done. Now, multiply that with what I will do in an entire year, of course I can conveniently buy this car. It is funny the way people look at us in this industry and think we are poor people.

Nigerian luxury designer Alexander Amosu has created the most expensive champagne in the world called Taste of Diamonds. The drink costs 1.2million pounds. Converted to Naira it is - N250million, which can get you three luxury duplexes in Lekki. :-)

Amosu created a design which takes its inspiration from the Superman style signature and hand crafted it from 18ct solid white gold weighing approximately 48gsm of solid gold centred by a single flawless deep cut white diamond weighing 19cts. The label is also handmade in 18ct solid gold and weighs approximately 36gsm, handcrafted and engraved with the client's name.  Amosu created the design in collaboration with luxury champagne brand, Goût de Diamants. The sandwich was made by Tangberry coffee house in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, U.K.

It’s called The Bacon Bling Sandwich and it’s being called the world’s most expensive sandwich according to The World Record Academy, but NOT the Guinness World Records (record drama).

It’s currently being sold for charity, with proceeds going to SKRUM, a British charity which helps children in Swaziland learn to play rugby, and the Regular Forces Employment Association.

On 3rd of March 2013, the worlds most expensive cake will be unveiled at the BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena in Liverpool.

The six tier high dessert cake is one-and-a-half metres tall, decorated with more than 2000 diamonds - the equivalent of 2046 carats, and valued at £32.4million( $52 million).

 

Bespoke jewellers Russell and Case who are based on the aptly named Bling Bling Street in Liverpool collaborated with CAKE in Chester to make the glamorous showpiece.
