Hmnmn! Man Brutally Beats Lover up after He Dreamt She cheated on Him



A 27 year old Florida Keys man is currently behind bars after he allegedly spent the whole of Friday beating his girlfriend up, all because he had a dream that she had cheated on him. Carlos Gascon's girlfriend told cops that her boyfriend woke up that day already mad at her. He then went on to brutally assault her, beat and cut the back of her leg with a knife, poured hot coffee on her, choked her, threatening to kill the woman throughout that day at her home.

Movie Director’s Wife Beats Up Actress For Sleeping With Her Hubby In Asaba



There is no doubt that Asaba, the Delta State capital has become a home for movie productions in Nigeria. It still baffles many why producers have decided to pitch their tent in Asaba.

Investigations by Gists from Edo/Delta have revealed that production is cheaper in Asaba and that is why producers are thronging there to make their movies, but the height of immoralities being practised in Asaba is really giving the people there cause.

Canadian mayor beats Hulk Hogan



Toronto’s larger-than-life mayor took down wrestling star Hulk Hogan in a friendly arm-wrestling match Friday to kick off an annual pop culture convention.
The 14-time world wrestling champion, in a T-shirt and his trademark bandanna, entered the room to applause and his old wrestling theme music, while Mayor Rob Ford strutted in to “Eye of the Tiger.” Ford ripped off his jacket and tie, untucked his dress shirt and rolled up his sleeves.

Woman Beats Boyfriend To Death For Trying To Break Up With Her [PHOTO]



Prosecutors say a Minnesota woman beat her boyfriend to death, taped his body up in plastic and hid it in a freezer because he was trying to break up with her. Jetaun Wheeler is charged with second-degree murder in the killing of the 58-year-old man at their Shorewood home. Authorities have not named the victim. A criminal complaint says the 29-year-old Wheeler told investigators the man had taken the bus back to Chicago. Detectives say when they searched the couple’s house Aug. 21, they found bloody carpet under Wheeler’s mattress. Blood spatter led them to the garage where they found the body in the freezer.  The Star Tribune says authorities are searching for Wheeler’s three children, aged 10, 8 and 7.Shorewood is 80 miles west of Twin Cities.

Carpenter allegedly assaulted a Professor



Solomon Babalola, the carpenter, allegedly assaulted Professor Adeniyi Adegoriola, who is his co-tenant at their residence in Ikotun, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.  Adegoriola is a professor of Petroleum Engineering and the head of Geology Department at the Uuniversity of Jos, Plateau State, northcentral Nigeria.

He visited his family in Lagos when the incident happened.

Teacher Beats Female Student To Coma




A female student in Iponri Estate Senior High school, Surulere, Lagos was beaten to stupor on Tuesday by a chemistry teacher identified as Mr Sebastine.

The victim, who's in SS 1, Abigail Chidinma Enyenwa, passed out after she was allegedly whipped by the teacher for insubordination.

Sebastine was later arrested at the school premises the following day by policemen from Iponri Police Station for interrogation on the matter.

Celebrated movie producer Tade ogidan threw caution to the wind on Thursday, June 13, and gave his wife, Yewande Ogidan the beating of her life due to what a source described as husband and wife issues.  Tade Ogidan is keeping sealed lips on the issues but those close to his wife are urging her to press charges or take the matter to any of the agencies fighting for women's right. I just wish they can resolve their issues and live happily again as husband and wife!

Glo Ambassador, Odun Adekola Allegedly Beats, Detains Students In Ogun Over Generator



Nigeriafilms.com has exclusively gathered from good authorities that Yoruba ‘thuggery’ actor and Glo brand ambassador, Odunlade Adekola, as he acted in ‘Sunday Dagboru’, recently threw caution into the air when he and his thugs allegedly beat up and eventually detained some students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, Ogun State.
We scooped that the incident, which happened on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at about 8pm, around Adigbe area of the city, psychologically destroyed the affected students who were before then preparing for their exams on Monday.

Man Beats Mother-In-Law Nakéd Over Prostitution




A man left the community shocked after he stormed into his mother-in-law's house, dragged her out while nakéd and brutally assaulted her for luring his wife into prostitution. He was arrested and brought before the magistrate court and he  pleaded guilty to assault. On 20 November last year at around 11pm, the 31-year-old stormed into Mrs Simangaphi Moyo's house and accused her of driving his wife to prostitution.

Gist Of The Day: Landlord Beats Female Tenant For Bedwetting






A landord has been arrested after bashing his female tenant accusing her of bed bedwetting. The alleged incident which has since become the talk of the suburb occurred on the 17th of November.t is said that on the dramatic day, Luphahla was going about his errands when he saw a child of the tenant playing outside. The man is alleged to have slapped the three-year-old child for “acting” like her mother. The child ran into her mother’s room wailing. This is said to have prompted the woman Ntombizodwa Ncube to demand answers as to the reasons behind the thrashing of her child.

Budding Actress, Kiki Omeili Beats Oge Okoye At Afro Hollywood Awards Event In Akure**Tonto Dikeh, Femi Adebayo, Others Head To London As Winners



 According to information made available to Nigeriafilms.com, up and coming actress, Kiki Omeili of 'Married But Living Single', which starred Funke Akindele and Joseph Benjamin, has been announced the winner in the Best actress in a supporting role (English language film) that had Nse Ikpe Etim and Oge Okoye.

Kiki was announced winner for the 17th African Film Awards 2012 otherwise known as Afro Hollywood Awards at a special ceremony held in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria on Wednesday 10 October. This has now qualified her, along with other winners, to attend the 17th African Film Awards 2012 ceremony holding on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the historic Stratford Town Hall, 29 Broadway, Stratford, London, UK.


Also announced winners at the announcement ceremony held in Akure were Tonto Dikeh who defeated Chika Ike and Omoni Oboli to win as the best actress (English movie), Femi Adebayo, Hafiz Oyetoro, Helen Paul, Andy Best and others.


The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) Governorship candidate in Ondo State, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN), who attended the event said "I'm happy Governor Rauf Aregbesola supports you and I want to assure you that if we are voted into power in Ondo, he will not saddle it alone, we shall support.


"To our artistes here tonight, your endorsement mean a lot to us. Your presence at our campaigns mean a lot to us. A lot of people come to our campaigns because they want to see you, listen to you."


The publisher of African Voice Newspaper UK, which organised the awards, Prince Mike Abiola, said, "I am pleased with the result of the strenuous work of the distinguished and independent panel of film critics who endeavored to see many Nollywood films to arrive at the winners.


"Congratulations to all the winners and nominees. The decision to host the ceremony in Ondo State was made as part of the need for changes to how African leaders support entertainment and tourism."


The winner of the African Actor of the Year will be announced in London at the glamorous ceremony. Joseph Benjamin of Nigeria (Tango With Me), Van Vicker of Ghana and South Africa?s Jafta Mamabolo (Otelo Burning) are contesting for the award's category.?
