A 35-year-old man, Yinka Offehin, is battling for his life at a private hospital in Lagos State after his scrotum was cut by the children of his landlady. The Edo State indigene, who resides on Popoola Street, off Abaranje Road in the Ikotun area of Lagos, was said to have been attacked while sleeping in his room with his family members.

His wife, Bisi, who was with him when the incident happened, identified the assailants as Solomon and Damilola, the children of the landlady.

A landlord and another tenant have landed in trouble in Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria after they used machetes to settle scores. While the landlord, Frank Uduzon inflicted injury on the face of his female tenant, Chioma Obi, a tenant, Sochukwu Donatus, also used a cutlass in inflicting injury on his landlady, Mrs Felicia Egwu. The incident happened at both Ikotun and Meiran areas of Lagos.

The Ejigbo Magistrate’s Court, Lagos State on Tuesday was dramatic when the court was told that the respondent in a civil matter had died before the suit was filed. The respondent, Bosun Felix Agunbiade, died eight years ago. Mrs. Funmilayo Oshinaike of 5, Araromi Street, Ejigbo, Lagos, landlady of the deceased Agunbiade dragged her dead tenant to the court to recover arrears of rent totalling N450, 000 and take possession of the apartment.

A landord has been arrested after bashing his female tenant accusing her of bed bedwetting. The alleged incident which has since become the talk of the suburb occurred on the 17th of November.t is said that on the dramatic day, Luphahla was going about his errands when he saw a child of the tenant playing outside. The man is alleged to have slapped the three-year-old child for “acting” like her mother. The child ran into her mother’s room wailing. This is said to have prompted the woman Ntombizodwa Ncube to demand answers as to the reasons behind the thrashing of her child.
