Caring for your BlackBerry smartphone
Take it or leave it, Nigeria is fast becoming a ‘BlackBerry country’ and it’s hard not find one in a gathering of mobile phone users. The price range is somewhat wide, so you get one for as low as N25,000 and another for as high as N100,000 – at least that’s the price tag on the BlackBerry Z10 from many of the telecommunication companies.
Yes, we all love BlackBerry or better still, the good stuff it comes with – ability to network with friends, colleagues, or boss, just a ping away at an affordable cost.
However, users usually have one or two complaints about the use of this popular smartphone. Perhaps BlackBerry has become a necessary evil that we may have to live with. Here are some tips that will help you enjoy your BB.

The 10 Dumbest Risks People Take With Their Blackberry or Other Smartphones
If you think of your smartphone as just a phone, rather than a very powerful mini-computer that happens to make phone calls, you may be cruising for a world of pain.
That’s because the amount of sensitive data many of us store on our phones is truly staggering. A smartphone provides us direct access to our savings and checking accounts. It may store our passwords to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, even our email accounts. The phone numbers and email addresses of all our friends and colleagues are easy to find in our contacts directory.

RIM Launches Blackberry 10
BlackBerry 10 is the first version of RIM’s smartphone platform designed for touch devices. Previous versions, such as BlackBerry 7, were optimized for non-touch handsets with physical keyboards.
Other nice additions to it includes an adaptive software keyboard that adjusts to your typing style over time and a predictive word suggestion feature that can add words to your messages with a quick gesture. There is also a new camera that offers features such as composite photos that snap several images in quick succession so you can merge them into one idealized photo.
