Update on the girl whose boss forced her to sit on a burning electric cooker



On Sunday we shared a story concerning the young house help whose madam forced her to lay on a burning electric cooker because she allegedly wet the bed? (see that here). Well, here's an update on the case.

The woman's name is Roseline Uzoamaka and she's been arrested. She was arrested on Sunday night by the authorities at Kubwa police station who then transferred the case to the Dutsen Alhaji Police Division of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, Abuja.

9 Reasons To Have Séx That Are Better Than Burning Calories





Séx may not actually burn calories, but that's no reason to give up on it. A report published on Jan. 31 in the New England Journal of Medicine debunked the notion that séx is a good way to burn calories.
According to the Associated Press, researchers found that the only evidence supporting this claim was a study conducted on 10 men in 1984. This study found that séx lasted six minutes on average and burned only 21 calories. Actual "séxercise," as one New York Magazine writer found out the hard way, is difficult work. But just because your séx life doesn't double as a workout routine doesn't mean there are no benefits. In fact, there are plenty of excellent reasons to get it on.

Court Orders Man To Pay N100, 000 For Burning Yams




In a rather interesting development, one Abraham Kegnon, of Mpape, Abuja has been ordered by an Abuja Magistrates’ Court to pay N100,000 as compensation to a farmer for burning his yams. Magistrate Musa Jobbo gave the order when Kegnon pleaded guilty to the charge brought against him.The magistrate also instructed that Kegnon should be held in prison until he pays the amount.
