Comedian Chris Rock set to divorce wife of 16 years?

Chris Rock may be a comedian, but the current state of his 16-year marriage is no laughing matter – because the actor and his wife, Malaak Compton-Rock, have called it quits!
The shocking news surfaced in late June when Chris’ brother, Tony Rock, made light of the situation during a performance at the Hollywood Improve Comedy Club. “Tony poked fun at his brother’s divorce during one of his acts. An audience member tells Star. “He said, “I’m not supposed to tell y’all this, but Chris is getting a divorce. I’m so happy because now we can get p***y together. I didn’t like her anyway.”
Sources say Chris,48, grew tired of having to answer to 44-year-old Malaak. “There’s been many arguments behind closed doors,” spills the insider. “Malaak is very controlling and demanding.”

Bishop David Benenoch withdraws divorce petition
Months after filing for divorce from his wife of twenty years and mother of his three children, Bishop David Benenoch, the founding pastor of Communion Church, has withdrawn his divorce petition.
Bishop Benenoch announced to his congregation during a service on Saturday September 15th 2012 that he was divorcing his wife, Esther Benenoch and there was no going back because it was an instruction from God. Well, apparently God has instructed himself otherwise because he has withdrawn his divorce petition. See the public notice he posted on his Facebook page after the break..

Bride Files For Divorce On Wedding Night In Saudi Arabia
A Saudi bride filed for divorce on her wedding night when her husband received a phone message informing him that he lost all his money in stock markets.
The message that he lost SR1 million (about N42m) meant that the man would be in deep debt and trouble.
The distraught groom shared the information with his wife who immediately said that it was over between them.
The man who couldn’t bear losing his money and his wife, collapsed and had to be taken to hospital for urgent treatment, Saudi daily Okaz reported.

With rapper AP.9 incessantly bragging to the media that he slept with Coco.,wife of rapper- turned -actor Ice-T, reports have gone off that Ice has filed for divorce.
Lately, the couple have not had the smooth relationship they used to have since Coco'ssuspectedflirtatious lifestyle went viral on the internet. Although, Ice-T has given Coco a Twitter.com slam for the "hugged up w/a fan" pics, he is not ready to walk away. The kicker's reports claim that Ice is cool with her having the money and house, he just wants her butt and boobs back.

Thousands Of Gay Couples Already Want A Divorce
Only one day after same s*x marriage has been made legal in some of the countries, thousand of gay couples have already filed for divorce, claiming that they have made “a huge mistake”, local sources are reporting.
According to our sources, about 2 400 people have showed up this morning in front of the Baltimore court house with their attorneys, demanding that their one day marriages would be quickly annulled.
“I think we rushed into this,” said Roger Graham, newlywed homosexual. “I clearly wasn’t thinking yesterday when I got married to Steve, for God’s sake, I can’t spend the rest of my life with a man who doesn’t love the same organic food restaurants as I do, no matter how cute he is,” added Mr. Graham.

Court asks Dr Soleye to pay ex-wife N45million divorce settlement
Encomium magazine is reporting that Nike Oshinowo's estranged husband, Dr Tunde Soleye has been asked by a Lagos High Court to give his ex-wife Dr Mrs Funmilayo Soleye 100, 000 pounds and N20million as divorce settlement, and also relinquish their London home to her.
Mrs Funmi Soleye filed for divorce after her husband of 28 years and father of her three children, Tunde Soleye married former beauty queen, Nike Oshinowo traditionally. The court did not only grant Mrs Soleye divorce request, they also asked Nike Oshinowo to compensate her by paying her N5million for wrecking her marriage and causing her pain.

Sharia Court Grants Woman, 23, Divorce Over Husband's Inability To Provide Food
Kaduna – A Kaduna Sharia Court on Tuesday granted divorce to a 23-year-old mother of one, Maijidda Waziri, over the failure of the husband to provide food to the family.
Waziri brought the case on Oct. 17, urging the Sharia Court two at Magajin Gari to dissolve the marriage.
