See MTN Project Fame’s Uncommon Gesture

The sprawling gulf between the mentally and physically disabled and the rest of the society was incredibly replaced with uncommon care when MTN Project Fame contestants visited the Children’s Development Centre, in Surulere, last week. It was a day set aside to bring love and care to the people who are in need of rare emotional and physical attention. The visit raised the pedigree of the reality show as one truly in touch with life and the desire to aid quality existence. Continue...

Weirdo: 'Naomi poured acid over herself to achieve fame & fortune' - accused attacker claims

Mary Konye, the 21 year old jealous friend being accused of attacking Naomi Oni with acid in Dec. 2012 made some shocking allegations of her own in court today. She told the courts through her lawyers that Naomi set up the attack and asked her (Mary Konye) to 'play the stalker' and throw the acid on her face, which was all part of an elaborate plan to be rich and famous.

This makes no sense to me. Why would you want to do that to yourself to be rich and famous? How many rich and famous people have their faces disfigured by acid? The things you hear. Continue after the break...

Iyanya Breaks Up with the Producer who Gave Him Fame and Money

Sensational Producer, Adesanya Oladoyin Joshua, popularly known as D'Tunes is no longer working with the Kukere Master, Iyanya.   This is an ugly trend in the entertainment industry and if stakeholders do not come together to discuss it and maybe fashion out the way forward, Nigeria's music industry might just find itself swimming in mediocrity in the not too distant future.

But whenever these break ups happen, one or both parties find it difficult to survive...
Since D'banj left Don Jazzy, he has barely managed to remain relevant in Nigeria with his Top Of The World track, while Don Jazzy is yet to produce any hit track for any of the artiste he's now working with. The list indeed is endless.

P-Square Deny Killing Their Mother For Fame and Wealth

It started like a dream but today, we thank God all the glory because it has become a reality. When we started, we had late Michael Jackson as our mentor. That was why in one of our songs titled, Busy Body which we released about 12 years ago, we tried to copy Michael Jackson’s dance steps.

Then, our fans used to call us, Paul and Peter. He influenced our musical career. We were challenged by Michael Jackson’s huge achievements in the world of music. We said to ourselves, if Michael Jackson could do all of these, we could equally do better. So, we tried our best and by the grace of God and our fans, we have realise our dreams.
