Pregnant Women Who Eat Less Fish Have Children With Lower IQs

Scientists are finding that there is a relationship between what a mother eats and her child’s IQ.  Using women in Britain for the study, researchers concluded that women who eat less fish had kids with lower IQs than those whose mothers ate plenty of fish.

Study leader, Margaret Rayman, of the University of Surrey worked with colleagues at the University of Bristol to study mothers and children and their urine samples.  In the samples, they were seeking iodine concentration, which tells them how much fish the mother ate during pregnancy.

There are many types of rare fish. A fisherman caught a pacu which is a type of rare fish in Lake Lou Yeager in Litchfield, Illinois. The pacu has human like teeth, and there have been reports that they attack human testicles. The teeth of this fish looks remarkably like human teeth. This fish also lusts after the human testicle. It is an extremely dangerous fish to come in contact with. Authorities warned fishermen and swimmers to make sure to avoid this fish.
