Star actress Funke Akindele has finally broke her silence on her alleged failed marriage saga and she said she is heading to go to court to clear her name and the issues...

The news of her troubled marriage was first reported by The Nation, so Funke Akindele has forwarded an sms message to the media house. The message reads:

“I read in the newspaper yesterday that I am divorced. What proof do you have? And I am taking this to court because my marriage is intact. You guys are rumour mongers. Funke Akindele Oloyede.”

It was reported on Tuesday that the actress may have been separated from her husband, Kehinde Oloyede, son of former Iyaloja of Oshodi market.

The marriage which suffered many hiccups shortly before it became known to the public, continually overwhelmed The Return of Jenifa star due to shocking and disturbing tales of extra-marital relationships that have led to not less than10 love children traced to Kehinde. The spate at which the estranged hubby’s sexcapades played out nearly turned the hitherto adored actress to an object of ridicule and the topic of rile discussion among professional colleagues and fans. It worsens with caustic and cynical comments online.

According to close family sources, the kitchen became too hot shortly after the marriage, as issues that did not surface prior to the wedding kept rearing their ugly heads and left unresolved. Kehinde, showed no remorse though after much pressure and damning, he admitted one of his mistresses, Modinat, and then three months pregnant for him was actually carrying his baby.

Earlier, the media was awash with the shocking revelation that his second wife at home, Fadeke, was equally pregnant. Fadeke was forced to travel out during the wedding to Dubai, an indication that she did not support the union. In a typical Yoruba setting, the senior wife should receive the new bride into the family. Checks revealed Fadeke too was not formally received by the evicted first wife, Toun. All these and more drew public odium to the hitherto much loved The Return of Jenifa star, especially women who believed she’s a home wrecker.

It seems that Mr Kehinde Oloyede, the estranged husband of popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele is out on a mission to ridicule her by all means possible. But what could have gone wrong?

In his reaction to why he broke up with his wife on Facebook, Mr Oloyede said: "I did so to catch Funke’s attention"!   So, how come he had to announce their break up on facebook to catch his wife's attention? Could it be that she has not been giving him attention, especially in the bedroom, as his wife?  Well, I don't know how true, but a source revealed that Funke Akindele actually parked out of their home about two months ago, leaving her husband in the cold.

Unfortunately this is not rumour, it's fact. A little over a year after tying the knot with Kehinde Oloyede, Funke Akindele's marriage has ended. Kehinde Oloyede shared the news of their split on his Facebook page (which he has since deleted). He wrote:

"It’s with heavy heart that am announcing the separation of me nd ma wife Mrs olufunke akindele,we’ve both agreed to go our separate ways coz of irreconcilable differences.we still best of friends nd we 4ever remain gud friends.

Tongues started wagging after the actress was spotted at a party a few weeks back displaying really large boobs (photo on the right), but Funke has denied going under the knife. When asked by a reporter if she'd had breast enlargement surgery, the actress laughed and said:

"Of course it's not true. It's because of what I wore and how I packed it. My boobs are the same, no increase, no decrease. It's all these jobless people that see nothing else about me but my boobs that started the rumour."

 A Lagos-based soft-sell magazine E247 reported that a Lagos-based trader identified as Modinat Nike Dada, who is in her 30's, has claimed to be seven months pregnant for the husband of pretty actress, Funke Akindele, Almaroof Oloyede Kehinde popularly known as Kendo in Oshodi area of Lagos State.
According to the woman, her romantic affair with Almaroof started after she moved with her sister, who is a tenant in one of Almaroof's shops in Oshodi.
