Popular actor Emeka Ike was made a sports ambassador at the Rhythm'N'Play event that held yesterday June 6th at the Velodrome of the Abuja National Stadium. Rhythm N'Play is an initiative of the Nigeria Academicals Sports Committee (NASCOM), that was inaugurated by the Minister of Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, late last year. The campaign is directed at enhancing mass youth participation in sporting activities in Nigeria. President Jonathan launched the inaugural campaign yesterday, where some celebrities were made ambassadors. Emeka Ike's job is to greatly help promote grassroots sport in the country. Ice Prince and Victor Moses were also made ambassadors.

Actress Chika Ike in Abuja High Court !

After over two years of separation, actress Chika Ike has finally filed for divorce from the husband she married in 2006, Tony Eberiri. The actress filed for divorce in an Abuja High Court today citing irreconcilable differences. Chika also mentioned domestic abuse as part of the reason for filing for divorce but said she didn't want to go into details.
According to a source present at the hearing today, Chika will get final verdict from the court next month. Meaning she will be getting her divorce as early as June 2013. See another photo after the Break

For those wondering why his face has been scarce in movies, popular act and Nollywood’s lover boy actor, Emeka Ike, has finally let the cat out of the bag. Emeka recently in an interview said he’s presently angry with Nollywood. And as a result, he’s temporarily quitting acting in a bid to ‘strategize’. According to him, he’s not happy with the industry at the moment which has made him to withdraw all his movies from the market. Emeka says he doesn’t want to be associated with the ‘decay’ going on in the industry hence, he prefers to ‘stand out’.
