Felony assault charge reduced to misdemeanor. Chris Brown is a free
man, and a lucky one, too. The singer has been released from jail after
being arrested early Sunday morning for allegedly punching a man and
hurling a gay slur facing a Washington, D.C. hotel. What's more, the
felony charges against Brown have been dropped to a misdemeanor, meaning
Brown won't face any further jail time as the consequence of this
incident.
