Photo: Chris Brown Surprisingly, this really is coming after Rihanna's ex-boyfriend was sentenced to 131 more days in prison on May 9, meaning he has served only 108 days out of the due term, according to TMZ.

Felony assault charge reduced to misdemeanor. Chris Brown is a free man, and a lucky one, too. The singer has been released from jail after being arrested early Sunday morning for allegedly punching a man and hurling a gay slur facing a Washington, D.C. hotel. What's more, the felony charges against Brown have been dropped to a misdemeanor, meaning Brown won't face any further jail time as the consequence of this incident.

Chris Brown's on-and-off again girlfriend Karrueche Tran trashed him on twitter today a couple of hours after it emerged that he'd been arrested for punching a man in D.C. Her reaction to the news headlines came as a surprise to some people because their split, which happened recently, hadn't been made public.

Chris and Karrueche had a receding about 1 week ago after she asked to move into Chris'LA pad. A source claims Chris flipped on the request and accused Karrueche of not being'grateful' for everything he already does for her, & for trying to push him too hard. Chris Brown Arrested for Assault in D.C

Singer Chris Brown was caught this morning and charged with felony strike, the D.C. Downtown Police Division has told CBS News. D.C. authorities spokesperson John Metcalf claimed the 24-year-old Brown found himself in a real altercation with an adult male nearby the N Resort located on E and 15th road about 4:25 a.m. regional time.

DCPD did not disclose the condition of the victim, but claimed "he is alive."Chris Hollosy, a 35-year-old male, was also caught in the incident and was charged the same.

"Chris Brown has a disease and the disease is, he has half a brain. He doesn't have a grasp of reality"

The on-again couple were photographed on the beach in Hawaii yesterday looking pleased to be in each other's company as Chris filmed his latest music video. In respect to reports, emergency medical technicians rushed to a Hollywood recording studio this morning after Chris Brown suffered a seizure...

The L.A. City Fire Dept. rushed to a Hollywood recording studio early Friday morning, after getting a 911 call that Chris Brown had a seizure ... TMZ has learned.

The call came from Record Plant recording studios in Hollywood at 1:09 AM. When EMTs arrived ... we're told Chris refused treatment and also refused to be transported to the hospital.

We do not know if it was indeed a seizure, but we've learned Chris did suffer from seizures as a child.

CHRIS Brown and Drake have escaped forking out a fortune in damages following their infamous nightclub brawl last summer.

A New York judge ruled that the warring pop stars don’t owe a penny to Entertainment Enterprises, the owner of the Greenhouse venue in New York, and threw the case out.

The company sued the pair for £10million [243 million naira] following their bust-up at the nearby W.i.P. hotspot, claiming the Greenhouse’s reputation suffered a massive blow as a result of the bottle-throwing melee.

Entertainment Enterprises said the widely-publicised fight had put revellers off going to the Greenhouse club, costing them a lot of money.

"[Fans have] seen me on and off again with different girls, you know who they are, but right now, as a 24-year-old man, I just choose to be single!"

Chris Brown's probation revoked, but wasn't taken in to custody

A judge in LA yesterday revoked Chris Brown's probation after the L.A County District Attorney filed legal documents asking the judge to revoke it and immediately remand Chris Brown into custody, according to a report by TMZ. The D.A asked for the revocation based on charges being filed against Brown in connection with a hit-and-run in May but fortunately for Chris Brown, even though his probation was revoked, he wasn't taken into custody, which is sometimes the case.

TMZ reports:

The judge just revoked Chris Brown's probation in the Rihanna beating case, but the singer will remain a free man ... for now.

Brown showed up at court today to fight the L.A. County D.A.'s motion to revoke his probation in the wake of hit-and-run charges stemming from a car accident but the judge granted the motion anyway, paving the way for a probation violation hearing in August.

If the judge determines Chris violated his probation, the singer could be sentenced to 4 years in prison. In the meantime, Brown has been released on his own recognizance.

Karrueche Tran is not impressed with Rihanna. The singer appeared to be trying to diss her ex Chris Brown when she appeared in a video on Instagram of her twerking to a Drake song, and Karrueche simply thinks that her love  rival RiRi lacks taste and wants attention. Karrueche, 25, does not care for Rihanna’s sexy twerking because she thinks there was “no reason for all that.”  “Karrueche doesn’t really talk about Rihanna but she has seen her Twerk video and couldn’t believe it,” source close to the model EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. “From her perspective, it wasn’t tasteful at all.
