The Chancellor of Covenant University, Bishop David Oyedepo, has called on Nigerians to join in the duty of creating a united country, predicting that the united states won't break up.

The small 2-year-old girl kidnapped from the kids church of Living Faith Church in Ota, Ogun State, has been found. The lady, referred to as Praise, was taken to church on Sunday morning by her parents. She has become around four years old. Praise was reportedly sold to a lady in Kano. She was recovered from the woman who bought her after the person that kidnapped him confessed... The kidnapper, while confessing, said he was struck with a strange disease after kidnapping Praise. He also became blind. In addition to this, he explained he was always seeing the founder of the church, Bishop David Oyedepo, pursuing him with a sword in his dream, hence his decision to confess his sin. Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church and his wife were in Kenya this past Saturday April 20th to officially open Winner's Chapel Church Auditorium located in Likoni Road in Kenya. The auditorium is said to be the largest church auditorium in East and Central Africa...it's a 15, 000 sitting capacity auditorium. The Deputy president of the country was the chief guest at the opening.

Sanusi Has No Right To Call For Scrapping Of CAN – Oyedepo

About two weeks ago, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Malam Lamido Sanusi, was reported to have called for the ban of ethno-religious groups in the country as a way of curbing insecurity. And just when we thought the dust had settled on the matter, the senior pastor of Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel,  Gideon Oyedepo, has declared that he had no right to make such a call.

Sanusi, while speaking at an inter-faith dinner organized by the Northern Reawakening Forum (NRF) in Abuja, was quoted to have said among others: “…I am opposed to regional, ethnic and religious groupings in this country. Infact, I would like the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Jamatul Nasril Islam (JNI), Afenifere and all such other groups to be banned.”
