Citizen Get 50 lashes for insulting members of his own tribe on the Twitter
A 30 year-old Saudi national was apparently sentenced to 50 lashes for insulting members of his own tribe on the Twitter microblogging site.
According to the Riyadh Bureau website a group of tribesmen from a village near the city of Medina - Islam's 2nd holiest site - lodged a complaint against the man at a local police station, providing screenshots as proof. They asked the police to ban him from "harming" and insulting them, and to punish him for the offending tweets.

Which Way Naija? Edo Teacher ‘Can’t Read Own Certificate’
It was a drama of sorts during the verification exercise of primary school teachers’ certificates in Edo State on Tuesday as one of the teachers in the state, Mrs. Augusta Odemwingie, could not read a sworn affidavit she tendered as part of her credentials.
Mrs. Odemwingie teaches at Asologun Primary School, Ikpoba Okha local government area of Benin City, Governor Adams Oshiomhole, who paid an unscheduled visit to the State Staff Training Centre venue of the exercise was appalled that a teacher could not read, saying “if you can’t read, what do you teach the pupils? What do you write on the board?”

Taste of Luxury: Peter Okoye also gets his own £1.2million champagne from Amosu
Don Jazzy was the first person to get the over N300million Goûtdediamants champagne from luxury designer, Alexander Amosu, now Peter Okoye has his own complimentary Taste of Luxury. Alexander Amosu recently created the world's most expensive champagne called Taste of Diamonds, valued at 1.2million pounds (Read about it here). It's £1.2m and they are just giving it away? OK! :-)

Artist Put his heart, soul and fat into Making 20 bars Of Soap.
Miami-based performance artist Orestes de la Paz has put his heart, soul and fat into 20 bars of special soap made with his liposuctioned blubber. The bars of human soap are available for purchase and priced at $1,000.
Orestes de la Paz underwent a liposuction procedure in December of last year, and decided to turn the removed fat into soap to prevent it from going rancid. He came up with the idea for his art thesis after realizing that “clients are willing to try anything to feel and look beautiful, even to the extent of buying products with human elements in them (stem cells, placenta, semen; you name it, it’s out there.)” Working as a hairstylist and make-up artist, Orestes loves combining the worlds of art and beauty together, so the unusual project sort of made sense to him.

Man Marries Own Sister After Sleeping With Her For 12 Years
Prosper Dzakpasu of Dzodze Ablorme of the Ketu South District of the Volta Region, Ghana has been bonking his biological sister for the past 12 years.
Despite caution and threats by several people, Prosper, 38, has refused to desist from sleeping with her sister.
Sources close to the family, who disclosed this to DAILY GUIDE, noted that the posture of Prosper forced them to make the matter public.
They noted that even though the mother of the two siblings cautioned them to desist from the practice on several occasions.The situation, they noted, had impacted the old lady who is exhausted.
Apparently Prosper is the oldest of five children she bore their father while Cynthia is the last sibling.Prosper's grandfather, who also intervened in the matter, had his fare share of insults from his grandson.

"There was nothing like that. I guess because it was included in our list that whenever we are going for a specific show, the organsiers must provide us with a private jet. We had a deal with a private jet company which always hire their private jet to us whenever we are in need of it. It’s like, we have a private jet at our disposal. I remember, I once tweeted that a private jet has been included in our list. That was how people started speculating that Psquare has bought a private jet. But we always travel with the jet all the time.Do they plan to buy a private jet someday?
To be honest with you, the way things are going, we are planning to buy one. And it’s not because of the cost implication of hiring a private jet, but the fact that we want to meet up with our concerts.

ABOMINATION: Man accused of raping his own daughters and granddaughter

She said he usually had sex with her on a daily basis whenever her mother was not home.
She said, “Whenever my mum is not at home, he grabs me, forces his hand over my mouth and then inserts his penis into my private part. He promises to buy me a car, cake and biscuit but he doesn’t buy anything for me.
“He also threatens to use a knife to gouge my eyes out anytime I threaten to report to my mother.”
Sylvester’s wife, Margaret, told PUNCH Metro that he (Ehijele) also raped their 23-year-old daughter when she was much younger and recently, he raped their one-year-old granddaughter that lives with them.

First Nigerian to own the Ferrari F458 -Guess Who ?
Didi is a Bayelsa Big Boy and one of GEJ's boys. He paid $400K (N60m) for this first-of-a-kind Ferrari F458 Italia, the latest car from Ferrari. The car came in this past Saturday and I hear he's possibly the only person in Nigeria to own it. If you know anyone else that has one, please send a picture.. The 458 Italia is powered by a 4.5 L (270 cu in) V8 engine derived from a shared Ferrari/Maserati design, producing 570 PS (419 kW; 562 hp) at 9,000 rpm and 540 N·m (398 lb·ft) at 6,000 rpm with 80% torque available at 3,250 rpm.

Man fakes his own death to propose to girlfriend
Alexey Bykov, 30, from Omsk, fell in love with his girlfriend, Irena Kolokov.
He wanted to marry her. But first he had to come up with a good marriage proposal.
Bykov also wanted to see if his girlfriend really loved him to death, so he faked his own death in a strange wedding proposal.
Bykov, hired a film director, makeup artists and even a script writer, to stage a fake car accident.
Then he arranged to meet his girlfriend near the crash site. “When she gets there, she will think that I was involved in an accident on the way to meet her,” said Bykov.

Boy Confesses He Staged His Own Abduction
A schoolboy who was feared abducted after he went missing for 26 hours last Friday has confessed to the Royal Oman Police (ROP) that he staged the whole drama out of the fear that his father would punish him if he scored low marks in his 10th grade examinations.
“In his initial statement, the boy had told us that three people had kidnapped him but his version had a lot of contradictions, so we continued asking him and finally he confessed that he had run away and was not kidnapped,” Sulaiman Al Rashidi, head of criminal investigations at the Ruwi police station, said in a statement sent to Gulf News.
Al Rashidi added that there had been a lot of ambiguity associated with the case from the outset. The police had taken the boy, Noel Sam Abraham, to a hospital for treatment soon after he was ‘found’ not far from the spot where he had earlier been reported missing by his father Abraham Samuel.

American Man Arrested after years of abusing his own daughter and had 3 children with her.
The West Virginia man has been arrested and accused of fathering three children with his own daughter, who was only 14 when she gave birth to their first baby, after DNA tests proved the abuse.
The news media reported that 56-year-old Charles Jr. Shamblin of Kanawha County was arraigned on incest, sexual abuse and sexual assault charges.
West Virginia State Police say Shamblin abused his daughter for more than 10 years. The results of the DNA tests indicate that he was the father of her three children.
The news media reported that Shamblin allegedly began abusing his daughter, now 35, when she was only seven years old. The alleged sexual abuse continued until she was 20. When she was 14, she gave birth to the first of their three children. The other two children were born when the victim was 19 and 20 years old.

One of the biggest comedians to come out of Africa, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth has just taken delivery of the 2013 Opel Insignia car. I heard from a close source to the comedian that it's a bespoke car, meaning that everything was built to Basketmouth's specification. The car is actually not sold at any showroom in the world...you can only order it. And Basketmouth's car I hear, is the only one that has been ordered in Africa. That means no one else has this car in Africa. The car sells for about 42 thousand pounds. Now that's big! Wow! Congrats Basket!!!
