I have 2 or 3 years to live –Pope Francis




For the Catholic faithful, this piece of news will definitely be hard to stomach: Pope Francis says he has only two or three years to live.

Although the Argentina-born Pontiff was silent on why he thinks he would not live for more than three years, he hinted that he had   ‘some nerve problems’ which require treatment.

He spoke with journalists aboard his jet as he returned from a trip to South Korea.

Francis, according to the Mailonline on Tuesday, also mentioned the possibility of retiring from the Papacy if his health failed to cope with the rigours of his office.

Shocking Revelation: 1 In Every 50 Catholic Priests Are Paedophiles –Pope Francis



Pope Francis has revealed that “reliable data” collected by the Vatican suggests that one in every 50 members of the Catholic clergy is a paedophile.

Speaking in an interview with La Repubblica, the Pope said his advisers had tried to “reassure” him that paedophilia within the Church was “at the level of two per cent”.

Pope Francis Baptises Baby Of An Unmarried Pair All through Baptism Of The Lord Mas



Pope Francis baptised the kid of an unmarried couple in a ceremony in the Sistine Chapel, in Rome.

According to DailyMail, the unnamed parents and their child took part in the traditional Baptism Of The Lord mass with 31 others, commemorating the day St John baptised Jesus.

The Pope has previously called priests who refuse to baptize children of unmarried women'hypocrites ', saying there clearly was need in order for them to baptize the children in order to pass on the Christian faith.

Pope Francis bags TIME's Person of the Year 2013



 After 9 month weeks as the pinnacle of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis has been named TIME Magazine Person of the Year 2013. TIME said the former Argentinian Cardinal has become the'new voice of conscience and is the person who had the greatest impact on the world in 2013.
"Rarely has a new player on the world stage captured so much attention so quickly - young and old, faithful and cynical - as Pope Francis," editors at Time Magazine said. 
The runner-up to the Pope is the National Security Agency whistle blower, Edward Snowden.
