On Sunday 15th September,  Nollywood actress Monalisa Chinda lit up the hearts of female prisoners at the Kirikiri Prison, Apapa, Lagos by having an exhilarating charity visit which lasted several hours.

Prisoners Perform O-ral $-ex In Police Van While On Their Way To Jail



These male and female prisoners had a brief encounter they probably won't forget.
Carlisa Brookins was caught by their corrections officer as he was performing oral s-ex on and Alexis Garcia while he was transporting the couple and eight others to a Las Vegas Jail.
The male and female inmates were separated into rows and all of them had belly constraints so the officer was surprised when he saw Brookins allegedly bend over her seat to perform a s-ex act on Garcia.

When the officer turned on the light, Brookins immediately sat up and made several comments claiming she was not a prostitute because she didn’t charge Garcia, according to the police report quoted by the Sun.

1138 condemned prisoners on death row – Research




No fewer than 1,138 condemned prisoners are presently on the death row in the country, National Mirror investigations have showed.
National Mirror gathered that of this figure, 1,119 convicts are males while 19 are females as at April 30, this year.
Statistics obtained from the Nigerian Prisons Service, NPS, also revealed that the 145 prisons in the country had a total capacity to accommodate 47, 284 prisoners, but the inmate population as at that date is 53,816.
A breakdown of this figure showed that the males have a total inmate population of 52,707 while the females are 1,109.
The statistics also indicated that the total number of Awaiting Trial Persons, ATPs, is 37,429 out of which 36,540 inmates are males and 889 females.

Video: Father-Daughter Dance Was Held For Prisoners In Virginia Jail



All of the prisoners at Virginia’s Richmond City Jail admit they made poor choices, and could be better fathers. “I am definitely failing as a parent right now, just by being out of her life,” Ronnell Glasgow said. A few examples: Julian Edwards is serving four years for drug distribution, Joey Atkins is awaiting trial for illegal gun possession, and Glasgow is serving seven years for selling drugs. Most of the men are in their 20s and 30s.

Gerald Ward is awaiting trial for guns and drug charges. He told us his daughter is only four. “But it’s amazing what she understands. She understand that Daddy did something wrong, ” he says. As these troubled men serve out their sentences, their children pay a price –  often spending the most important years of their lives without active father figures.
