Hon. Michael Chinda Flown Abroad: Injured Rivers State Assembly Lawmaker In Coma. The Minister of State for Education, Mr Nyesom Wike, said in Port Harcourt on Friday that Michael Chinda, the wounded legislator in Rivers state, would be flown overseas for medical attention.

Chinda, representing Obio/Akpor constituency, the minister’s base, was wounded with the mace during a fight on the floor of the state assembly on July 8.

He is a member of the Group of 5 legislators that attempted to impeach the Speaker Otelemaba Amachree, igniting the fracas. Amachree’s group is made up of 28 legislators, with an an obvious overwhelming majority.

Do you still believe in love?

I believe in love.Love is the reason for our existence.It's really not enough if you want to get something done,you have to do away with that emotion and be real.

We learnt that you are planning to go into marriage again,is it true?
I would love to remarry.Infact, I am designed to be under a man.I am not going to lie that I like this single mother nomenclature.But wherever there is one at the moment one is bound to get used to the situation.It is not a do or die affair because one has been there before,anything I have to do now must be done right.

Monalisa and popular Lagos businessman, Lanre Nzeribe have been dating quietly since early last year. Off and on sha! I wasn't going to write about it before because I thought it was one of 'those things' but these two have obviously been bitten by the love bug. Lanre is not only personally involved in all Monalisa's projects, but he tells everyone who cares to listen that he's found the woman of his dreams. Looking ever smashing, popular Nollywood diva, Monailsa Chinda last week shocked her fans when she damned the consequences and stepped out with a man, many are alleging she is romantically involved with.

The event was the premiere of Uche Jombo’s movie, “My Life, My Damage”, at Ozone Cinema, Yaba. The actress  hit the red carpet, beaming with smiles as she posed at random for photo shots.

Lisa was not afraid to flaunt the dark complexioned handsome man whom many say is a serial philanderer. Together they sat at the VIP corner, where they were seen chatting and laughing heartily while screening lasted.

The lovers party, which we hear is going to be an annual package on every lovers day, had many people in attendance. As usual there were loads from the Nollywood where Chico is very well respected, we saw Fred Amata & his new beau of inestimable value, Mor Okonkwo, there were also many other Nollywood couples, Segun Arinze & wife, Ejike Asiegbu & wife, Tony Umez & wife, Emeka Ossai & wife, Zik Zulu-Okafor & wife, Fidelis Duker & wife and several other couples. 

 Delicious looking Monalisa Chinda came alone, she was dressed in a sweet black outfit and finished it off with a nice Christian Louboutin pumps, Benita Nzeribe was around also, our gorgeous friend Halima Abubakar came with a very gorgeous friend Benita Peters, Tricia Esiegbe-Kerry was also around, Chidi 'GQ' Mokeme was also in the house as were several others.

If reports reaching us is anything to go by, Nollywood actress Monalisa Chinda might be heading to the altar soon. We learnt the beautiful mother of one is now dating Lanre Nzeribe. In 2009, Lanre reportedly married another Nigerian actress Stella Damasus, a relationship that only lasted for about a year. The relationship collapsed in 2010 and Stella moved on with top Naija socialite Mofe Duncan. Monalisa Chinda has kept her romance secret until the above picture surfaced. Here is the controversial aspect of the whole story, Lanre Nzeribe is a married man with many girlfriends.

Background

I am Monalisa Chinda, an actress. I am the first child in a family of six and I got all the attention, especially from my father. My parents were very strict, especially my mother. I had this very unusual colour and all eyes were on me. My complexion? It’s a mixture of my parents. My maternal grandmother is from Bonny, Rivers State and she got married to my grandfather, who is from Imo state.

My name, Monalisa

I don’t know why my father gave me that name. Maybe it was borne out of his love for the painting by Leonardo Da Vinci. He grew up in Germany and he was quite exposed to the arts.
