A day after Lagos state Governor, Babatunde Fashola, ordered the immediate reversal of  the state's university school fees as what it was 3 years back, 2011, Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro took to Twitter to slam the governor.  Musiliu is questioning Governor Fashola's true motive for the reversal and says the university's students and their parents deserve an apology as well. Lamar Odom's father Joe granted an interview to Radar Online yesterday blaming his son’s fall from grace on the Kardashian family. Joe claims marrying Khloe was the worst mistake Lamar ever made.

Joe said: “Someone’s got to speak out, I’ve got to do something about this. It’s simple. They brought him down. He would be better off without them. Let him go and get his life together. I think the best thing for him would be to have a clean break, divorce Khloe and as a single man try and get his life back together. The mother has been talking a lot of trash about my son, saying he’s on drugs and stuff like that. She’s got something against my son, something against my family. Kris Jenner is very negative. She’s an evil b*tch. She doesn’t care about Lamar, she just cares about their image and money.”

Billboard magazine, which usually writes puff pieces in servile deference to Beyonce, wrote a particularly scathing op-ed piece about Beyonce’s shameless thievery yesterday.

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but what if the person imitating is a polarizing icon that should be doing otherwise — someone like Beyoncé?

On Monday (April 29), pop singer Kerli posted a side-by-side photo on her Facebook page of her and Beyoncé donning the same Amato Haute Couture dress. The photo of Beyoncé comes from the pages of her 2013 “Mrs. Carter Show” tour book.

Charles Oputa, popularly known as Area Father, an unashamed smoker, has quit smoking. He had been addicted to cigarettes since he was 16 years old.

Some of his friends and fans were said to have been stunned at a recent function when Charly Boy arrived at the venue of the said event without holding his smoke. While some were said to be happy seeing a reformed CB, others were of the opinion that it was one of his tricks to arrest people’s attention. But in a swift response to people’s insinuations, CB said that he had since parted with smoking and that he did not pray to go back to the bad habit.
