 Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were nominated for 7 Grammy Awards yesterday and won four  - Best  New Artist, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance and overcome Jay Z, Kanye West, Drake & Kendrick Lamar for best Rap Album.   Many people believed Kendrick should have won best Rap Album at  least and so did Macklemore. Following the awards, he apologized to Kendrick for'robbing'him.

US rapper 2 Chainz was reportedly robbed in broad daylight just hours before his appearance at a show in San Fransico. 2 Chainz went on the record to deny the incident ever happened, but TMZ has produced a video showing the robbery go down. According to the description from TMZ, 2 Chainz fell to the ground while trying to make his escape and was pounced upon by the gunman who took his wallet and jewellery. Politician Prince Buruji Kashamu robbed of $62,000 on Arik flight

On Tuesday May 7th, popular hotelier and politician Prince Buruji Kashamu was on Arik flight no - W3155 from Lagos to Abuja, Time- 15h00. Ticket number 7253293631462-1. Seat no- 4F, when his $62, 000 disappeared from his briefcase. Below is what he said.

"I have never heard of this type of daylight robbery and didn't think I would be the first but the next time it happens to me, Arik Air should be ready for me.

I had $62,000 ( sixty two thousand dollars) in my briefcase and saw the money just before I went through screening. I noticed in the car on my way to the hotel that the money has mysteriously left my suitcase.

Arik air either has a ring of thieves doing this operation in collaboration with the operators of the screening machine or has a spirit that steals from its overhead compartment."

I heard that some people actually buy business class tickets just to steal from the rich men in that section of the plane. This is not the first time we are hearing about people losing things on the plane. The airline companies need to be more vigilant.

Policemen shoot robbed banker, security guard in Lagos

An employee of Access Bank Plc, Mr. Femi Badejo, and his security guard, Joshua Moses, were shot by policemen in Lagos on Saturday after they responded to a distress call about a robbery at the banker’s home in Ikota area of the state.


PUNCH Metro learnt that the robbers had attacked Badejo and his neighbours around 4am and one of the neighbours made a distress call to the police, but by the time the policemen arrived about an hour later, the robbers had fled.
