School Guard Rapes Student Inside The Classroom In Lagos



A civil engineering graduate from Delta State University, Abraka in Delta State, who lost his job and was newly employed as a security guard in a private school at Ijegun area of Lagos State, has been remanded in prison custody for allegedly molesting a student of the school inside the school premises.

It was alleged that the 30-year old security guard, Emeka Nwabunwane, lured the 18-year old student (name withheld) to a classroom in the school and molested her when she went to the school to attend a tutorial class in preparation for her Joint Admissions And Matriculation Board, JAMB, examination.

Security guard Gets 1 yr for stealing diesel from generator





An Abuja Magistrates’ Court on yesterday convicted and sentenced Arebun Douglas, a security guard with Fidelity Bank Plc, Wuse 2, Abuja to one year imprisonment for stealing over 400 litres of diesel. .
The Senior Magistrate, Mr Shuaibu Ahmed, convicted Douglas, after he pleaded guilty to stealing the diesel from the bank’s generator set. Ahmed, however, gave Douglas an option to pay a fine of N5, 000.
The magistrate warned the convict to stay away from crimes. Earlier, the Police Prosecutor, Mr. David Udeh, had told the court that a staff of the bank, Mr John Okoro, reported the case to the Wuse Divisional police station on April 17, 2013.
According to Udeh the convict stole over of 400 litres of diesel, valued at N58,000 from the generator. He said that during police investigation, the convict confessed to stealing the diesel from the same generator more than six times.

Mall Security Guard In Court For Taking Photos Under A Woman’s Skirt





A security guard accused of sexually molesting a woman in Dubai, by taking pictures under her skirt at a shopping mall has pleaded guilty to the charge in court on Sunday. “She was wearing a very short skirt. Her seductive dressing aroused me and urged me to take secret snaps from under her skirt with my mobile phone camera,” claimed the 32-year-old Indian security guard at the Dubai Court of First Instance. Prosecutors accused the defendant of sexually molesting the 29-year-old Russian businesswoman by using his mobile phone camera and taking pictures of her.

Policemen shoot robbed banker, security guard in Lagos





An employee of Access Bank Plc, Mr. Femi Badejo, and his security guard, Joshua Moses, were shot by policemen in Lagos on Saturday after they responded to a distress call about a robbery at the banker’s home in Ikota area of the state.


PUNCH Metro learnt that the robbers had attacked Badejo and his neighbours around 4am and one of the neighbours made a distress call to the police, but by the time the policemen arrived about an hour later, the robbers had fled.
