Video: Female News Presenters Report The World Cup In Their Underwear in Venezuela

A Venezuelan online news channel, Desnudando la Noticia, has grown recently for its reputation of its female presenters reporting in their underwear.
It shouldn’t come as much a shock, as Desnudando la Noticia literally means “Undressing The News.”
The presenters often begin reading the latest news from the World Cup in their underwear, before gradually beginning to simultaneously undress.
Their World Cup reports began on YouTube, but moved to Vimeo.
Desnudando La Noticia say they’ve used the World Cup as a springboard, after which they plan to move into mainstream general news.

Luis Suarez gets a hero's welcome after being booted out of the World Cup

Luiz Suarez returned to his native home of Uruguay yesterday June 27th to a hero's welcome after being booted out of the World Cup and banned from all football for four-months for biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini. Uruguay's president arriving the airport to receive Suarez

Meanwhile, Giorgio Chiellini is not happy about FIFA's decision to ban Suarez for four months for biting him, a decision Uruguay says they will contest.

On his official website, Chiellini criticized the punishment, calling it excessive. What he wrote below
"Now inside me there's no feelings of joy, revenge or anger against Suárez for an incident that happened on the pitch and that's done. There only remains the anger and the disappointment about the match. My only thought is for Luis and his family, because they will face a very difficult period. I have always considered unequivocal the disciplinary interventions by the competent bodies, but at the same time I believe that the proposed formula is excessive. I sincerely hope that he will be allowed, at least, to stay close to his team-mates during the games because such a ban is really alienating for a player."

Niger Flag Displayed Instead of Nigerian Flag during World Cup Opening Ceremony

A major faux pas occurred at the world cup opening ceremony, which took place yesterday. When Nigeria was called, Niger’s flag was displayed.  Some viewers commented on the incident via twitter:
The Nigeria Football Federation says it bears no grudge against FIFA or the 2014 World Cup Local Organising Committee for the error.  “If they called Nigeria and they raised Niger’s flag, it’s not a matter I can address from here. People that were there saw it and I know they will talk to FIFA about it. LOC and FIFA made an honest mistake.
