'Single Married & Complicated' has set a new record. The Yvonne Nelson's movie broke records by showing in 7 cinemas halls on the day of it's premiere.

The premiere which held on the 5th of September at Silverbird Cinemas Ghana, had thousands of fans present to support the actress.

According to the actress, the warm reception nearly brought her to tears.

How did you meet your hus­band? 
I met him in Nigeria through a friend at an event. From there, we became close friends. I became pregnant and we got married im­mediately. Everything happened in a very short time. A lot of people thought it wasn’t going to work but at that moment, I knew I felt something I had never felt with anyone in my life and I said to myself, why not take that chance? I’m quite prayerful , so I knew there’s no way I could err, though I never planned getting married so early. I had so many dreams of what I wanted in life. Mar­riage was the last thing on my mind. It hap­pened so fast and I thought I should give it a shot.

I sincerely need advice from blog readers because right now I'm perplexed on what to do. Please don't ask me to pray because I've been doing that almost everyday. I believe God sometimes uses fellow humans to send out words of wisdom to confused minds hence my post.


 I'm a graduate and work with an organization that pays me salary of 40k in the north. Pastor Christian Oyakhilome has finally addressed the allegations leveled against him after more than a week of maintaining silence on the divorce suit filed against him by his wife,

Speaking on Sunday evening during the monthly global communion service of the church, he said the allegations were “crazy” and “stupid”. Oyakhilome acknowledged that divorce is unbiblical but suggested he could consider the option should his wife insist on it.  In an interview with The Nation, current Mr Universe Nigeria, Francis Egwuatu, said that because he went for a male pageant doesn't mean he's gay...


"I am not gay, and it is very annoying when people make such comments. There was this girl that added me on twitter. She was like; ‘Tell me the truth, are you gay?’ It was so annoying. Some people think that for you to win the pageant you must be gay and men must sleep with you and all, but that’s not true. I just wish I could do a story and the heading will just be ‘I am not gay’. People have concluded in their mind that we are gays. Even when I was profiled on LI’s blog, there were comments like, gay alert; the guy is gay and all that. People feel if you are a male pageant contestant, the only hard work you need to do is to sleep in the room. That’s a negative thought, but I believe a person with a positive thought won’t think like that. For me, you just have to be positive; you just have to believe in yourself. I have gone for pageants that I lost (Mr. Tourism Nigeria), but that didn’t stop me from going for more."

Oyakhilome divorce Saga: Cardinal Okojie speaks, says 'are they true pastors'?

 Talking to a Vanguard reporter recently, Catholic Archbishop Emeritus of Lagos, Anthony Cardinal Okogie, said the drama going on between Pastors Chris and Anita Oyakhilome is disturbing. He explained when pastors will not honour the vows they took at the altar of God, what do they expect from the normal members of these congregation?

“When the going was good, they took vows on the altar of God to stay together in sickness and in health, until death do them part. They promise to make one another faithful partner in the presence of God, their family and friends and vow to be each other’s faithful partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow. (with their separation ) It shows that they cannot live by what they preach. The Bible says: ‘What God has joined together, let no man put asunder.’ So why are they putting asunder what the good Lord has joined together if they are men of God as they claim?” Okojie said

Oyakhilome did not commit ADULTERY! - Anita's statement

It is no longer news that Pastor Anita Oyakhilome is seeking to divorce her husband, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the President of Believers’ Love World Inc., popularly known as Christ Embassy, on behaviours that suggest that she cannot ‘reasonably be expected’ to  live with him. 

There had been media reports that Anita decided to divorce Pastor Chris based on allegations of ‘adultery’ and ‘unreasonable behaviours’ but a copy of the  court papers for the divorce process filed at the  Principal Registry of the Family Division (PRFD) of  the High Court of Justice in possession of THISDAY,  revealed that she applied for “divorce on the ground that the marriage has broken down irretrievably.”
