R&B singer, Mary J. Blige Banks A Whopping $500,000.00 To Perform In Nigeria By Etisalat



A couple of days after her performance that at Eko Hotel & Suites; i've received reports that American singer Mary J Blige got paid an unbelievable amount for only her one night visit.

Insiders are saying that telecommunications giant, Etisalat paid the R&B singer half a million dollars on her performance at the Sisters with soul concert.

The cheapest fee for entrance to the show was N15, 000 and the crowd moderation intended by the organisers was achieved. Although the favorite Expo Center, Eko Hotel and Suites still appeared empty, this was due to the oversize hall for the elitist show, featuring American Queen of ‘Hip-hop soul '; Mary J. Blige who stormed Lagos last Friday for the Etisalat's sponsored ‘Sisters with Soul'concert.

The multiple-award winner and multi-platinum selling artiste took the audience back time, offering her most loved songs from the 90s until her latest releases.

The show, which enjoyed the partnership of Kilimanjaro Entertainment, also paraded a number of Nigeria's top female artistes including Seyi Shay, Eva Alordiah, Niyola, Emma Nyra and Ms. Jaie, all performing their hit tracks to the excitement of the audience.

After her two-hour performance, Mary J. Blige proceeded twitter, thanking her fans: “Good morning Lagos. Thank U so much 4 the warm welcome, love & support. I'd a great time with U! Sorry I'd to leave so quickly. Love.
