 Anambra State Government yesterday Wednesday, August 27, 2014 held  Honours and Tributes ceremony for late Prof. Dora Akunyili, at the Women Development Centre in Awka, the Anambra State capital. The well-attended event hosted by Willie Obiano, Governor of Anambra State, was graced by eminent personalities such as for instance former Heads of State, Generals Yakubu Gowon and Olusegun Obasanjo.

Inhuman: New born baby dumped in dustbin in Anambra state (photo)

 A brand new born baby was found laying dead in a dustbin at Hilltop Gate adjacent St Peters Chapel UNN today July 30th. Nobody around the region saw who dropped the baby. The location is principally occupied by students from the university (UNN) so many believe so it could have been women student. Start to see the pic after the jump... *brace yourself...it's too inhuman.. Tears on my pillow..*

4. ANAMBRA STATE
Okay, this is pretty straightforward. It was derived from the name of the Oma Mbala (Omambala) River (in Ibo, the native name of the river is Ànyịm Ọma Mbala). Anglicize the pronunciation and you have Madam NAFDAC’s homestate. The river is quite long o, about 210 kilometers, it is a major tributary of the River Niger, the most important below Lokoja. Yep! Let’s keep rolling.
