BringBackOurBrothers: Plea from Incarcerated Nigerians Abroad




Members of the fresh start Youth Foundation led by its National Coordinator, Barr. Chidi Ujoatumba (standing Left on black Jacket), on June ninth at the Unity Fountain capital of Nigeria protested the continual immurement of Nigerians in Indonesia Prisons. 

Barr. Ujoatumba said the essence of the rally was to spur immediate response from our government to the decision of the many Nigerians languishing in jail abroad particularly in Asian countries however Indonesia especially and to effect the jail Swap Agreement reached by the Nigeria government. Heavily Pregnant Annie Idibia Travels abroad to deliver 2nd Baby [PHOTOS]





 Heavily pregnant Mrs Annie Idibia left Nigeria recently to have her next baby abroad. You remember Annie gave birth to Isabella in CA, 2008.  Hoping her a really safe delivery. Meanwhile, Annie got to share  these great pictures of her family on Instagram. So in love with the initial picture. Much too adorable. Ends up Annie ran into new mom Nike Oshinowo at the airport.

Nigerians Abroad Answering The Question "Where Are You From"



OK, I spent some years in Nigerian before relocating abroad, but I have a tendency to constantly have this problem whenever I locate fellow Nigerian man. Usually the Non-Nigerians are cool when they just ask are you from Africa, and you say Yes, thats it, the whites, hispanic and Asians just really consider that if you're not American then you're from "Africa" /End of discussion. In the spirit of aproko that's been bestowed on all of us, Nigerians prefer to poke nose, when even whenever you answer you're from Nigeria they insist what side, which state and which local government area (seriously?).

Deglobalization?? Ethiopia Bans Citizens From Travelling Abroad For Work




Ethiopia's government has temporarily banned its citizens from travelling abroad to find work, the state-run Erta news agency reports. The foreign ministry was quoted as saying countless Ethiopians had lost their lives or undergone untold physical and psychological trauma due to illegal human trafficking.

The decision was meant to "safeguard the well-being of citizens", it added. The travel ban will stay in place until a "lasting solution" is found. The ministry said the us government had taken various measures to limit the suffering of its citizens, including setting up a national council and a taskforce to educate them.  But those measures hadn't had the opportunity to address the issue sufficiently, it added.

Stop risking your lives for unreal greener pasture abroad, develop your country – Briton tells Nigerian youths




A member of Volunteer Service Overseas, Mr. Michael Young, a citizen of United Kingdom has charged Nigerian youths to stay in their country to contribute to its development instead of risking their lives searching for unreal greener pasture.

Young, who stated this along his counterpart, Miss Samuel Joy Ben during a press conference in Ilorin to mark the beginning of International Youth Day celebration in collaboration with National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kwara State chapter, said immigrants could make it in their countries without embarking on dangerous journey.

Victor Essiet of Mandators’ fame is a very famous musician in Los Angeles, California where lots of Hollywood actors and actresses are resident.
He spoke on sundry issues relating to his career, most trying moment in life, latest music effort and how he perceives Marijuana, otherwise called ‘Ganja or Weed’ in local parlance.

How true is it that some Nigerian musicians are into Cab-driving here in United States?

Musically, it is very tough in America if an artist is not up to the task. Such moment that person would have no option.

CAPITAL FLIGHT: MTN Ultimate Wonder winner, Ebube Garricks, relocates abroad - Who to Blame ?



Ebube Essien Garricks, the 27 year old lady who won the MTN Ultimate Wonder promo has relocated to the UK. She and her N64 million (yes, she received her money late last year from MTN) left Nigeria to the UK a few weeks back where she plans to further her education and most likely stay put.

'First Lady not sick or seeking medical treatment abroad' - Presidency



According to a statement released today by Patience Jonathan's Special Assistant on Media, Ayo Osinlu, our dear First Lady didn't travel abroad for medical treatment. See the statement below...
“Our attention has been attracted by some curiosity in a cross section of the public and particularly the media, about the movement of Her Excellency, the First Lady, Dame (Dr) Patience Goodluck Jonathan. For the avoidance of doubts and ambiguities, we wish to state that the First Lady travelled to Dubai, after which she proceeded to Paris, France, to participate in the 1st Green Women Conference, which took place in Paris on March 17, 2013 where she received the 2013 Global Women Leaders’ Award for Peace.
“She thereafter proceeded to Italy from where she went to Germany to see her mother, Mama Sisi, who is currently receiving medical attention.
