The former president of Nigeria and his countrymen should have been saying this when Nigeria was selling out the Libyan people at the UN Security Council.

Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo expressed what many in Africa feared from the NATO attack on Libya:

"We knew that at the end of the Libya operations, there would be fallouts. And the fallout would be where would all the weapons go? Where would be some of those who have been trained how to use weapons [and] how would they be accounted for? ..."Part of what is happening in Mali is part of the fallout from Libya, and we should not expect that Mali will be the last."

David Adeleke, a.k.a Davido, has turned into a force in the Nigerian music scene. Now, the son wants to use his luck in the make-believe world as he projects into Nollywood. Due to his cousin, Ikechukwu Ojeogwu, a rookie producer, Davido would have been an element  part of Ojeogwu's debut film, John Zerebe.  Ojeogwu, who told Saturday Beats that Teco Benson will be directing the film, insisted he was featuring Davido in the movie while he (Davido) fitted the role.

"I didn't use him because he is my cousin. I didn't use him to sell the movie as well. David fitted very well into the role and we had to use him as well," Ojeogwu said.

Nigeria And Israel Sign Aviation Deal - Now Nigerians Can Fly To Holy Land Directly!

Nigeria and Israel signed a bilateral aviation deal, the Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA), that enables airlines from both countries to fly directly to one another without stopovers. Before this agreement was signed, Nigerians, including Christian Pilgrims, traveling to  Israel had endure several flight changes, JNS.org reports the agreement has been inked during a trip of the Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan to Israel.

Information at Ọmọ Oódua - Naija Gist disposal has it that actress Bisi Ibidapo-Obe, who caused lots of confusion in the home of former House of Reps member, Hon Dino Melaye, with her pregnancy saga is now a happy lady. At last, it seems her cries have been heard and her prayers answered. Dino Melaye is said to own accepted full responsibility for Bisi's daughter. 6 months ago, when Bisi put to bed, she told anyone who cared to listen that she camped Dino in her house when he visited Lagos back then and they slept together, leading to pregnancy. But Dino said the actress might be struggling with afternoon dream, claiming nothing of such happened.

Anyway, sources say Dino has sent individuals to Bisi, indicating his interest to take full responsibility for his or her baby and Bisi, who's on tour, is expected to meet up Dino on her come back to Nigeria.

Do you guys remember Patricia Etteh, the first female speaker of the Nigerian house of reps?!

Well, following her unceremonious exit from the house of reps, she's been keeping a low profile.
PUNCH reports that she is now a student at the prestigious Buckingham University, United Kingdom - she is studying law.  Incidentally, one of her course mates is the son of the former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Nuhu Ribadu. She is said to live in a posh apartment in Milton Keynes from where she commutes to and fro campus. Etteh had barely spent four months as the then fourth most powerful individual in the country when she was forced to step down from her leadership position of the House following a heated scandal over the renovation of her official residence in October 2007, in which some of her colleagues accused her of alleged involvement in corrupt practice.
