 A fit made in music world. Imagine if those two reconcile and start doing music together again. The former Mo'Hit Record bosses performed three of their hit songs at Dbanj's sister's wedding today. They performed Fall in Love, Endowed and the best, Suddenly. D'banj called Don Jazzy to join him on stage and he obliged. Heard they gave a great performance.

Dear Oyebanjo, Dapo Daniel AKA DBanj,I am seated at a local restaurant here at the Lagos State University, Lagos, Nigeria, drinking a bottle of Fayrouz and listening to the sound of the generator, which is the only source of electricity around here.I have watched your latest music video.

I went through the rigour lasvdt night. It is the video of the song entitled “Don’t Tell Me Nonsense” and it was awfully disgusting, the song, I mean. Kaffy and the rest of the dancers didn’t disappoint in the video.
This is bad, I know, using awful and disgusting, in same sentence. But that is what I feel about what I saw. Brother, DBanj, a lot has changed since you left your brother and hustle partner, Ajereh, Michael Collins AKA Don Jazzy. Truth. Your songs have been nothing but trash.

Heard it was supposed to be the whole Mavin crew but things didn't work out as planned. Despite the fact that they no longer work together or signed to the same label, Wande Coal and D'banj are said to be on good terms. D'Banj Finally Ends Speculation Over Olamide

D’banj has finally shutdown stories he’s signed Olamide, saying it’s all just a rumour.

Rumours about the signing were heightened when they pair recorded a collaboration on the DB Records compilation album ‘D’King’s Men‘ and were spotted several times hanging out together.‘It’s a rumour‘, D’banj told journalists at the DKM Industry Nite held in his hounour two weeks ago.

Olamide was however the first person to deny the news stating that he and ‘Eja Nla’ are only friends. The rapper said, in a recent interview that he and D’banj were actually in talks but a lot of ‘negative energy’ surrounded them.

Contrary to earlier reports, King of Zanga, Damilare Okulaja popularly known as Durella hasn't moved to D'banj's DB Records but he is making plans towards moving.

He explains why he wants to move to DB:

"I am still signed to Iconic Music but there's a quest to move to DB Records. I want to pitch my tent in the international scene, that's why we gave DB Records some consideration. I think it's a platform for international advancement. I want Sony Records to take over the management of my music career. I also want international distribution for my works. D'banj is my friend, I am presently living in his house. We have not signed an official contract, but very soon, it will come to pass.

How would you describe your fashion style?

I don’t know. I just dress how I want to be addressed. Sometimes, I want to look like a biker, sometimes I want to look like a billionaire. I wanted to get myself a power bike until I started making it. I had to decide against it because if I get injured, I would not be able to perform. Right now, I can only ride through video games.

What is you most expensive fashion item?

I’ll have to think about that. It depends. When it comes to what I love most in my wardrobe, I’d say ‘nothing’. I’m always wearing expensive things; like now, I have two watches on my wrist. I’m putting on a Franck Muller, master of complication. It goes for at least $50,000. The other is a big face, the same one Jay-Z is rocking.

Why Olamide Rejected DBanj

For a while now, D’Banj and his management team have been planning to sign in rapper Olamide to the his label, however, Olamide turned down the Koko master’s offer, preffering to roll alone for now.

Olamide, who does not want to play the fool at this phase of his career, politely told D’Banj that he was not ready to surrender some of his powers, especially having to be booked for shows only by D’Banj’s management outfit, pleaded for time to even think about the offer as he still wants to work with his present team and taking things as they come for now.

He believes that for now, there is nothing D’BANJ could do for him that he can’t do by himself. In the future, I will consider his offer. If anybody wants me, he should have unfettered access to me. I am just starting out in the profession’, he allegedly told close friends.
