Ice Prince set to join Jojo as Season2 host of Top 10 on Channel O

This month, rap superstar Ice Prince joins Channel O VJ Jojoas host on the brand new season of their hit show ‘TopTen Most’.The countdown show which is in its second season is set to premiere on Channel O DSTV Channel 322 on Wednesday 8 October at 19:00 C.A.T

“Our choice of Ice Prince as host this season basically reflects what Top Ten Most is about; Swag, bragging rights and lots of numbers!” explained Leslie Kasumba, Head Channel O.

 In a recent chat with Encomium magazine, the Chocolate City rapper said he doesn’t see his son often because he’s always out of town. In his words ‘To be honest, I don’t get to see him, because I am always out of town. Besides, he’s two and too small to travel with me wherever I go. He comes to the house anytime I am in town, and we have fun together. Maybe when he grows older, he’ll become my PA and we would always go out together’.  Father and son recently made a cameo appearance in Ruby Gyang‘s new video ‘Good man’....

If you are very costly, the Fireplace of Zamani crooner lost his place as the brand ambassador of Unity Bank, a leading  bank in the Northern part of  the country. The bank chose to sign Ice Prince as its ambassador as a result of his climbing hip-hop brand and mainstream appeal. Things fell apart when Ice prince called for a sign up fee of N300m which did not go down well with the stakeholders of the bank. A Vanguard source unveiled that the bank is currently speaking with Kogi born Nollywood favorite Joseph Benjamin who has the Northern background they will happily touch into.

Newly-crowned BET Best Africa Act, Ice Prince has announced he will be launching a foundation to cater for orphans in Ngieria

The rapper explained that he’s started ‘The Zamani Foundation’ for orphans because he too is an orphan – Ice Prince lost his mother on May 5, 2013, 11 years after he lost his father.

‘I want to do this for all the orphans out there‘, Ice Prince said while premiering his ‘VIP’ video on June 20 at Protea Hotel, Ikoyi. He also called out on every other celebrity for their support.

‘The Zamani Foundation’ will be launched with a concert right after the rapper releases his second album ‘Fire of Zamani’ on September 7, coinciding with the anniversary of the first Jos crisis.

Since actress Yvonne Nelson and Iyanya, the Kukere master who only wanted her waist, parted ways, one of the few male friend she's kept in close touch with is rapper, Ice Prince.

So as Ice Prince left Nigeria last week to compete with the likes of Tuface Idibia for the Best African Act at the BET Awards in Los Angeles, Yvonne Nelson urged him to go and "make me proud ".In a "love" message she posted with the above photo, the actress said:
