Rev. Anita Oyakhilome’s Lawyers Drop Bombshell On Messy Divorce




For over 2 decades, Chris and Anita Oyakhilome President & Vice-President of the Believers Love World, better called Christ Embassy made the list of Nigeria's most celebrated couples till the other day when TheCable, an online web news media, broke the news headlines of these separation. Rev. Anita Oyakhilome filed for divorce from her estranged husband Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, citing irreconcilable differences bordering on alleged adultery and misbehaviour. The case with suit no. FD14D01650 was filed on 9th April 2014 at Divorce Section A, Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High Holborn in London.

Only In Naija: EFCC broke, can’t pay lawyers



The Federal Government’s anti-graft war, which many have dismissed as below average, may collapse as  the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, one of the agencies saddled with the responsibility of prosecuting  the  campaign,  is said to be broke.
Investigations by our correspondent in Abuja on Tuesday revealed that the  EFCC  had been finding it difficult to meet its obligations to the  lawyers handling cases on its behalf.
The most affected are senior lawyers in charge of cases against  influential politicians/ suspects who are either involved in high profile money laundering or outright stealing.

Lawyers Inform SSS To Release Stowaway Teen Or Cost Him To Court! Detaining Him For so long Is Unwanted -




A group of lawyers under the aegis of De Rauf Volunteer Group yesterday called for the release of Daniel Oikhena, stowaway boy, currently being detained by the Department of State Security Service (SSS).
Oikhena was arrested in Lagos for travelling inside the wheel compartment of an Arik Air plane from the Benin Airport.

The coordinator of the group, Mr Amitolu Shittu, however, told newsmen in Benin that the group was ready to secure the release of the boy from detention.
