A suspected armed robber was a victim of jungle justice in Ghana after he was attacked by a furious mob. The alleged thief was said to possess been waylaid at the Upper West Regional Capital area and assaulted by the mob who also stripped him of his trousers. See another photo below.

The mass burial announced by authorities of the University of Benin

Teaching Hospital for victims of last Friday’s multiple accident on the Benin-Ore Road, in Igbogui, Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State, will hold on Saturday (today).

Authorities of the hospital had arranged to bury the corpses of the

victims on Wednesday but could not, apparently due to their inability to secure enough space for about 60 corpses from the accident, that were deposited at its mortuary.

A source at the hospital said the victims would be buried at the Third Cemetery, located on Akugbe Street, off New Lagos Road, Benin.

As many as 3,500 couples from all over the world tied the knot at a mass wedding in South Korea organised by the controversial Unification Church a year after its founder died.    A further 24,000 followers, who have been dubbed 'Moonies' after the church's founder Sun Myung Moon, were also married in other countries via video link in a ceremony presided over by Hak Ja-han - the widow of Sun Myung Moon, who died in September.
