 On August 10, 2013, Nollywood actress, Collette Orji feted some mothers, widows and others to a posh birthday party, which was also used to launch her NGO called Coco Medicare Foundation. 

No doubt, the day will for a long time remain in the memories of many female folks in Enugu State that thronged the event as Collette spoilt them with a lots of gifts, drinks and food such that they even went home with some. The women were all smiles as their darling actress marked her birthday in style.

 The former Abia State governor named the huge estate, which comprises of several units of eye-popping buildings and other exotic structures, after his daughter, Neya Uzor Kalu. Camp Neya was built in 1998 at Uzor Kalu's home town of Igbere, Bende LGA in Abia State. According to IGTV, Camp Neya, which is in a world of it's own, houses over 400 rooms comprising of over 36 jumbo sized sitting rooms, 12 room presidential lodge, Governors lodge for all the 36 states and FCT.

PHOTONEWS: Governor Orji visit FMC Umuahia to sympathize with NANS accident victims



Abia State Governor, Chief Theodore Orji has sympathized with Nigerian students over the death of five executives of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) including the Senate President, Donald Onukaogu in a ghastly motor accident that occurred in Ikwuano, Abia State on their way to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The Governor who visited victims of the accident at the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia where they were receiving treatment described the incident as a calamity and sympathetic.
 
He cautioned drivers to be careful while on the wheels as well as to maintain a manageable speed, maintaining that many would not have died if they were not on high speed.

Abia is the safest state in Nigeria – Governor Orji



Abia state Governor, Chief Theodore Orji has called on Abians in Diaspora to return and contribute their quotas to the economic development of the state. This, he said will take Abia to another level.
The Governor who declared that the state is definitely and no doubt the safest in country, made the call shortly after he delivered a lecture titled: “The Role of Governors in Nigeria’s Federal Democracy: Meeting the Challenges“ at the Paul H Nitze School of Advanced Studies, John Hopkins University, Washington D.C, United states of America.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ugochukwu Emezue in a statement, said Chief TA Orji, who was overwhelmed by the show of support during his visit to the institution, recalled how kidnappers almost made the state ungovernable.
