Chris Brown rejects plea deal in D.C case, headed for trial

 Chris Brown has tasted jail and no longer seems afraid of it. He was in Washington D.C yesterday for his assault trial and rejected a plea deal with prosecutors...and now he's headed for trial.

TMZ reports that Chris was near copping a plea but the deal fell apart because the prosecutor and Chris'lawyer couldn't acknowledge a record of fact in regards to the events resulting in the alleged assault.

Chris has always denied assaulting a fan in 2013 outside a hotel in D.C. If he'd pled guilty, he would not have to serve any extra amount of time in jail. Now that he's likely to trial, jail time is on the line again. His bodyguard was already convicted of the assault. A trial date has been set for September.

 Mrs. Joy Ifijeh, the widow who had been abused by the Governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomhole, said she ignored the offer of N250,000 by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) because she was satisfied with the apology, job offer and N2m by the Governor. ‘Go and die'widow, as she's often called on social network, further noted that she was not willing to be utilized as a pawn by the PDP on the chessboard of politics, advising the party to give the said money to some other widow instead.Mrs.

Ifijeh disclosed this through the presentation of her letter of appointment in to the Edo State War Against Indiscipline at the Government House in Benin City, December 3, 2013.

“I want to thank Oshiomhole sincerely for this appointment and I wish to state that I have forgiven him from the bottom of my heart. And for the money promised me by PDP let them give it to other widows. I do not need the money,” Mrs. Ifijeh said.

It is impossible to restrain tears, indeed, when reporting about a devastated calf losing it after nearly being stepped to death by own mother. Only moments after baby elephant was born in a Chinese wildlife park, his mother displayed unusually aggressive behavior towards him. Wildlife officials decided to part the baby from the parent. Unfortunately, the little elephant could not stand it and broke into bitter tears. Zookeepers couldn’t calm him down for five hours.
