Waje, Seun Kuti others take to the streets



 Waje and Seun Kuti have taken their #BringBackOurGirls campaign from the streets of Twitter to the streets of Lagos. The stars both took placards in hand to go against the kidnap of 234 young Nigerian girls fourteen days ago. Earlier the group were reportedly tear-gassed by the police, they continue steadily to March though.

Other celebs noted in the march include Kathleen Ndongmo, Cameronian activist, Debola Williams of The Future Project & designer Ugonna Omeruo amongst others. See more pics following the cut

NBA Player Dwayne Wade's ex-wife stages protest against him on the streets (Photos)



NBA player Dwayne Wade's ex-wife and mother of his two children, Siohvaughn Funches-Wade on Friday staged a protest against him on the street in Chicago...claiming he's worth millions but has left her homeless. According to reports, Siohvaughn was ranting about child support, judges, a  $90 million contract and "houses on the water."

Dwayne Wade divorced Siohvaughn in 2010 and was awarded full custody of their two sons in 2011 after a public legal battle. Siohvaughn was in court last week to get more money from her ex but it didn't work out well for her so she took to the streets ...

How This Beautiful Nigerian Actress suffered in London



Nigerian-born radio presenter at Sky UK and Ireland, Abike Ade, in this interview, speaks on issues relating to her acting career, broadcasting, her late husband and other personal issues that many don't know.
Although her situation is better now, below is what she told Punch about her sad past:
How has it been working as a broadcaster in the United Kingdom?
It’s been very very challenging.

How challenging? What kind of stress you go through?
The challenges vary. It starts from building one’s image, keeping it up and getting better and better on a daily basis.

So, have you been able to build your image to a level you are satisfied with?
The stress starts from meeting up with the required standard from fans, individuals and at the same time keeping with my duties as a mother. I continue to work on my image as one is never satisfied. I strive to continue climbing until I reach my best. My best is yet to come.

Cocaine Sells For N100 On The Streets Of Lagos




Contrary to popular belief, cocaine and heroin are no longer out of the reach of the common man, writes Chux Ohai
One afternoon in March, our correspondent set off in search of joints where hard drugs were sold and consumed in parts of Lagos. Along the line, the search led to a narrow street, just off the busy Olowu Street and adjacent to the popular Ipodo Market. Known as Ilo Street, it is lined on both sides with crowded shops on most days of the week.
